Stop in for a cup of coffee

I even went one step a little different by putting a silver stripe on.....thought it would bring out the metallic in the blue a little bit...

I went with the stripe I liked best on my Demon, I mean stuffing a gen 3 in it kind of negates the factory look!
I built mine like original with very little exception. But even it is far from original. I've got parts from over 40 cars!. LOL
I say build what you want. I just went 'restoration' on Cinnamon. If I ever do another, it will likely be anything goes. As soon as you change one major thing, you are only kidding yourself calling it a restoration. So do what you like.

I actually had a 383 powered convertible challenger. 1970. got it from a pic a part!! Sold it a while ago, 4 speed car as well.
My first E body was my only "investment " car I ever bought to flip was a 70 U code 440 'cuda. So worth it because it paid a chunk of my college. Because that car made so good, I didn't have to do lap dances for @Ben Drinkin to pay for college LOL

Currently I have a 71 challenger that is pretty much a piece of **** and I have a really nice original 73 challenger that I am giving to my dad.

One only has to look at Zmans car heading to Chicago show to appreciate the restoration art. I mean that car is flawless, like many others on This site. The part I appreciate on FABO is nobody condemns me for doing my own thing. This site is a hodgepodge of purists, racers and all things in between. We meet up at this show or that show, or simply road trip to fellowship with each other. The fabric that weaves us together is Mopar. Well and a remote opening trunk full of Shandy!

BD pays for lap Dances? Heck I will head that way now, I need the cash for parts! Hah!

I will be attempting a perfect resto on my 66 Satellite, 383 4 speed convertible. 1 of 37. At least it is all there, no guessing where things go, If it ever gets close to where Craig's and Cheryl 's car is will be a huge accomplishment.

I am actually an E body owner too, but I am hard pressed to admit it because I identify with the A body crowd.

I don't like the typical E body attitude of "I have an E body so i have a ton of money and my car is holier than thou"

They kinda make me laugh, same how clowns make you chuckle...... then run
I had an e body before they were cool....I just like them so I got another. I hope you all dont think that kind of stuff about me...

Freezing sweet corn this afternoon. I need to start brewing beer tomorrow. I now have all the ingredients.
Dunk in boiling water, then straight into icewater. Best way so far. As close to fresh corn at christmas as you could get

Thanks buddy!!
Ya I thought it was pretty well done too until Barracuda buddy John looked at it at Carlisle.
I took care of the short list of flaws he gave me at Carlisle.
He comes in tomorrow and in three or four days we'll have it up to standard.
Of course we're taking it to the shop and put it up in the air. Hard telling what he'll recommend, but I have six weeks before show time.

My Chevy is gone now...But I do have some of the alphabet of Mopars...Waiting to start the Unrusted numbers 383, 4 spd 70 Cuda, until the GTS is completed....The 65 Belve will be an SS Clone, cause it was never numbers matching...

We have been canning non stop for an eternity this last week, we are down to two bushels of apples, a dozen or so tomatillos and a whole bunch of tomatoes to make our ketchup with. Garden is strip picked.
When my brother and I were kids, 2 weeks every summer we would be at our grandparents house picking green beans, yellow beans, apples....you name it. Pick, snap, and can beans....they were so good!!! The apples too!!!

Neighbour is bringing veggies all the time. Its awesome.

Damn its hot....

Too hot. I gave up. I did get a driver made for running the anchors into the ground. Tried one, worked well.
Fits on my 3/4” ratchet.
