I like to brag about my 'qualifications' but then an old girlfriend always shows up to set the record straight..
Im not qualified to do anything. Except sleep. 
If some individual was to start,say being insulting or derogatory,in my thread i think i would take offence.

Did you ever get that gnawing sensation that things aren’t right?
I have it now and have all week regarding work.
Maybe it’s just a passing thing, but I have learned to trust my instincts. My Spidey sense is tingling and it’s time to protect my own interests for the storm I sense is coming.
I’ve been through this too many times over 33 years to not recognize the signs.
Ugh! I really don’t need this noise in my life.

Funny thing, when you move to a new country, everything you know and can does not count anymore. It is barely that you can tie your shoes.

Weather guessers suggest it will be worse than what we got most of the day.
I discovered water in the basement, it found its way in through a crack in the wall or through back door frame.
Power outages all around.
Will wait and see what happens.

Generator as well as 1000 watt inverter. Will hook inverter to truck if i need it.would need to keep sump pump powered. Thats it.
My younger son in NC found an old generator for sale and got it running... That's what they used when Dorian knocked the power out when it blew through....
I hear thunder right now... A storm is coming...
