Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well, we made it to Thursday.... Working from home tomorrow so its kinda Friday too. Thinking it may be nice to take the Demon somewhere this weekend. Need to see what it is like to actually drive it somewhere. Would be neat to drive it over to Dads. Weather depending of course..

Good Morning All..

This is just a PIA because you breath on the housing it gets stained. Thank god for shrink wrap!

We are up and alive after a great Robert Plant concert last night at an outdoor amphitheater. He is still amazing. People were on their feet for the whole thing. I am beat.

Always liked his music. I think my favorite album was that 80s one called Now and Zen. It was good. Did you see several years back that he was offered from some record company to rejoin Jason Bonham, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Paige as Led Zeppelin? Their offer to him was like 850K dollars. Everybody else was onboard. He basically told them to F off. He's a great performer with an amazing voice, but he's well known for his attitude. I think somehow, for 850K I couldda had a good attitude for however long it took. lol

I am tired of polishing the horribly hazed and yellowed headlight lenses in my wife’s ‘05 Grand Caravan every few months.

I got new OEM lenses today for $30 each with bulbs already installed. Not worth the effort do polishing for that price! I will install them this weekend.

Cool trick for this is to wet sand them, clean them off then use Duplucolor rattle can clear on them. They turn out awesome and you wont have to clean all hazed over yellow crap off again!!! Just wax them every so often.

Mine were cloudy on the inside too.

This is a ram I had a few years ago, these lights were so yellow they were orange in color. Probably the worst I have seen, this is after wet sanding and the clear. It took about 10 minutes to do both. My brother has this truck and they still look like this today, its probably been 4 years since I did that.

What grit wet sand did you use if you don't mind me asking?

Good morning everybody, hopefully we can stay under 90 today. Have had 3 days with over 100, and yesterday it was 108, the hottest this year. Pheewww. I wish God would give me a 4 wheel drive tractor and 3-4 feet of snow. Would cool things down a bit and get rid of the bad traffic around here.

*****n work... :mob:

I almost choked to death on my first break when eating a granola bar and trying to wash it down with some gatorade.... Had to cough up the gatorade to open my air passage back up and be able to breathe again... I couldn't get the food to go all the way through and could feel it still in the bottom of my throat... I then bought a pop from the machine and tried to wash it through with some pop and choked again... I coughed up the pop and then packed up my things and found the supervisor and told him that I almost just choked and still had some food stuck in the back of my throat, and he told me to go to the medical clinic...

So I go to the clinic and they took some x-rays and didn't find anything conclusive... I got the note from the doctor proving that I was at the clinic during that time and gave it to my supervisor when I returned to work 3 hours later...

Today they call me into the plant manager's office and I have to explain to two managers and the supervisor why I did not punch out when I left to go to the clinic... :wtf:

I said, when I have something still stuck in my throat and not sure if I will be taking my last breath, punching out to go to the clinic is the last thing on my mind.... :realcrazy:

Breathing is more important to me... :icon_fU:

I had to throw it back at them and ask them what another worker said yesterday, "why didn't you drive me or have someone ride with me to make sure that I made it to the clinic safely and not choke again and pass out on the way"... Crickets.... :poke:
Be careful bud. Glad you’re ok
