Stop in for a cup of coffee

Car looks good at speed.
Third run, I'm hitting the brakes just after the finish - the yellow crate protects the timing light's reflector or whatever it is these days.

Loved the V without bodywork - especially the front bumper sticker!

I would love a 64 Dodge but I need one closer to done than that. Lol
I should have take pics underneath. Looks like all new suspension, shocks, control arms, etc. new brake lines. Everything nice and shiny. All the rubber parts looked brand new, hell the tires still have stickers on all 4 of them. All the trim looks to be in the car. Floor pans look original but no rust at all. Quarters look good, really I think some minor body work, some paint and it’d be done. All the rust you see is very light surface rust. If I had to guess, this is either a garage kept car or from out west somewhere. The pics don’t do it justice. If I had the coin, I’d easily offer 3500-5000 for it and be happy with it at that price

Sounds good but I am having a hard time getting my seat pulled for some upholstery.

yeah, I hear ya. Don’t over do it man. Heart things and all. If I was closer, I’d come pull that thing for ya. Then again, with the way things are here at home, I could use a road trip. If only I could get the time off work. Ugh

Speaking of out west, I interviewed via video conference for a job, found out at the end it’s in New Mexico. They’re willing to pay up to 10,000 for relocation fees plus 6 months rent if needed

Dropped son off at home. His basement floor is covered in water. Sump pump quit. Trash pump quit. Garage door opener quit. lightning maybe..

Electric surge from a near by transformer blowing? That happened to my parents several years ago, lost everything that had an electric motor or compressor, including the dish washer and fridge

Hard to hit the like button on that one.

@Ddaddy
Been meaning to mention i have been admiring the october page on my calendar. Thanks again :thumbsup:
Cool! Glad you like it, that image is one of my favorites.

I’m still debating whether to another calendar this year....it’s a lot of work and I lose money on it every year. Last year I almost broke even...almost. Only lost $100 this past year...less than half what I lost in years past.

Not that I mind really, it has always been a labor of love and a Christmas present for my friends. Only a few dollars each on average. Just not sure I want to keep doing it..this year has been rough.

I can respect that.
If it matters, it will always october in my office...

First I had heard of a Pertronix failure.

I have read about the Pertronix, that in the beginning many of them failed. I had one on my 1965 Ford Galaxie with a 289. It worked in all the years I had it.
Then I read about that when the Pertronix 2 came that it was a lot of issues with that too, but I assume they solved that too after a while.

A couple more hours to get off watch. Then a couple more hours till the flight. Then the car ride home. All 8.5 hours if im lucky. If not 9-12 hours. Got to love construction, rush hour and car accidents.
Anyway morning all.
