Good morning to all folks. Still have a cold, headache, stuffed sinuses, but I think I might be a little better. Still too lazy to do anything useful, like getting my tush off the chair.

Nov 3rd. Vegas! One week of warm.Ah,... sleet is yucky. It is the worst condition to drive in. Much better with all kinds of ice. In sleet nothing grips. Don't be sad, it will come better days again.

Forgot to add, it was 82 yesterday, calling for 3-5 inches today. (Karl)
Ok, no I have read the Classic Industries catalog I got. Well, read it is perhaps not the right way to put it, gone through it from beginning to end. And I discovered something interesting. Classic Industries claims that only some 45000 Dodge Dart was made in 1965 (1965 model year). And if that is the figure they are using when offering parts for them I can understand they have a lower selection than for other cars that were produced in much higher quantities. Now, how many cars were made does not tell how many cars are out there today needing part, so it was just an observation from my side. According to Allpar, which I trust more, Dodge made 19031 Dart's for the 1965 model year, including station wagons.
I wonder how many are left and needs parts.

Certainly # made is a factor, but 'desirable to restore', and even more so is 'value when done'. If not a lot are being restored, there is just no money in it and would be a bad business decision to carry it. A lot of parts were used on different models, so the less desirables have parts available by association. If its a functional part that millions of cars used, the auto part grocery stores will have it. Then the next level gets picked up by the restoration suppliers. On the other extreme are the cars that very few are out there and their rarity makes it possible for someone to make small runs and recover there costs through what would seem like ridiculous prices to us A-body guys.Ok, no I have read the Classic Industries catalog I got. Way down south SoCal is supposed to get a Santa Ana thing goin' on today. Temps go up 0 humididity, sometimes the wind can be quite strong. That's going to freak the other utility/electric company out and the blackouts may begin down there. It will be really nice in the desert .

Nope. It's friggin beautiful here!Seems we have issues all of us, some with winds, some with heat, some with dry, some with wet, some with sleet, some with flood, some with cold, and the list goes on. as we say in Norway, it blows a wind in every doorway. No matter where you are, it is always something. Well, such is life, and we just have to accept life how it is.
Bill
I'm assuming you missed a digit on the Alpar #... but regardless, I'm sure there are cars that millions were made and nobody will ever make a part for. LOLI totally agree with you, but still a puzzle how they could be that off on the production numbers. Even the 270 sedan with slant six alone had a higher number than that.
Bill
The 65 production numbers are quite skewed. I wonder if a lot of the records were burned in the fire.Ok, no I have read the Classic Industries catalog I got.
