I'm about 150 miles east of the oil fields but know them because I hauled crude oil there for 3 years. Are you working out here?

No, but I am Norwegian of origin and first language, and know what the word Bakken means, so when I saw the oil fields there got that name I understood it had something to do with my kind of folks... lol

Now you do know that Luckenbach, Tx is less than an hour from where I live dont ya Ray? Also had to listen to Willy twice this last year, whether we wanted to or not. Got an amphitheater accross the road.

I used to live a half mile from the Detroit state fairgrounds... I got to listen to a few good concerts from my house when the fair was going on... :D

If I didn't like the music, I found something to do inside....

yes sir. I'm trying find 10-20 acres somewhere in Northwestern Wyoming, Eastern Montana or the western Dakota's.
Western part of North Dakota is dry land as is Montana and Wyoming. I drove semi for a few years and been through most of all 3 States. Will post some pictures from the air in my area and Eastern Montana.

More pics when I get there next week....
Yes, I speak Vietnamese now. Been learning for two years now, not quite fluent yet though, not an easy language to learn.....

Our friends in high school had a Vietnamese aunt... She made a wicked fried rice... My friends could put away a large bowl of that in one sitting...

I'm really wanting someplace in the mountain region.

I speak and text it everyday with her, so I am learning more very quickly. I could get by on my own, in country, in fact I did the first time I went there. The key is knowing other languages. I learned, and still know German, from an early age, also speak some Spanish and French, and some African Tribal languages. New languages come easier, if you have a few under your belt already...

depends on you and your skill level, I've repaired trim thats about that bad with a body hammer, its time consuming and mind numbingly annoying.

I thought about making myself, oh man, what is the English name of that tool, some kind of a punch of bronse with a slightly rounded tip but rounded only one way, and then hit it with a hammer and use a wooden block under it. Then, after hammering a bit, we will see how my skills are. :)

This is what Eastern Montana looks like and also Western North Dakota up close to Canada.

Hi everyone how is your day going? mine sucks.View attachment 1715406971Wind is 60 mph and no way to drive on the open road because you can't see past the hood of your car. Don't ask me how I know.
Got all the cars in the garage but my old rust bucket truck that looks pretty good warped in snow. Getting worse snowing harder and weather man says 2' before it stops.
I think I'll pour me a drink. lol
Its just slop up here. I have water running in everywhere in shop and house.
To top it off i had a water line fitting crack, and had to go to town for a 2 dollar part to fix it.
Wind backed off a little and it isnt sleeting any more. For now.

I thought you were heading south by now.
I don't know how far away you are from me I live in Bisbee ND. But if you ever need a place to stay or stop for repairs or just a potty stop you are always welcome here.

This story was on MSN home page. An example of how much of a-holes squirrels can be. LOL
This is from around Pittsburgh. Car was only parked a couple days...

Back from a day of driving the wife and 6 & 3 year old granddaughters to lunch and fun. Why we have to drive an hour or so away??
They had a great time and NOW I am to...yes, a TMM special!!
Still have to go watch the granddaughters do a cheer routine at the high school halftime tonight.
Showing up right before halftime and leaving as soon as we can tell them great job. Gonna be cold 40 with a 20 mph north wind.
That's ok, already informed the wife she's driving, and I'm pre-game drinking...Crown Royal and cubes!! That should offer some warmth.
