Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey as you may or may not remember I now have the correct Carter carb on the car. I'm still running the fuel line from the fuel pump to carb that I used for the Edlebrock. Difference is the Edlebrock off the fuel line to the carb used a short piece of rubber to connect to the carb. The Carter has a fitting on the side into the fuel line

I ordered a fuel line from in-line. We laid it out yesterday, for a comparison and "how's it look" and it doesn't look like it comes close to a fit. It looks nothing like the fuel line I have in now. Looking for a recommendation as to where I can find the correct fuel line for a 67 383.

I have many different tubing benders and bend my own fuel lines from the pump to the carb...

I have been looking and looking and looking... well, as you said, the guy wanted $55 for it. I can not afford to buy a $55 filter every time I change oil. So, my option would have to buy for example a WIX 51515 filter and peel the decal of it, and find a way to get that old MoPar logo on. I do have a few options for it, it is in the back of my head, so I guess whenever I wake up around 3 at night to go to the little boys room I will lay awake after that wondering about that logo, until I have solved it. :D

Just get a custom rubber ink stamp made of it and some yellow paint and just stamp it on in a rolling motion.

I was wondering how that was done.

They probably have some kind of either a roller doing it, or spraying it on while the filter is rotating. The rubber stamp is a good idea, but I can not imagine it will be possible to get that made at a company. It would be something I would have to make myself. The problem would be that it has the name MoPar and Chrysler there. A year ago or so I wanted to get a brochure made for an old truck, and it was for myself. I went to Staples and to FedEx, and the answer was the same. If you can some with a written letter from the truck manufacturer that it is ok that we print it out like that, then we will be happy to do it.

Here are the Mopar Specs for the 340 camshafts.

The 444/276 cam is available through Jegs Mopar Performance Camshafts.

The 453/284 4 speed 340 cam could be cut by Oregon Cams, don't think that one is available in mass supply.

Here's the information that we have from our "research"... My degree info has some error as my degree wheel may not have been accurately centered as the hole in the wheel is larger than the bolt and I did my best to eyeball it... I now have a bushing to center it more accurately for future checks...

Question: Does anyone know if there are any thin clear plastic with adhesive on to put on top of a lable ? I want to print out some lables, and Staples have sheet with lables in different kinds. But, I only have an ink jet printer, and I think water and soap will wash off the ink. So, if possible, I want to print out a whole bunch of them, and if I have a thin plastic foil with adhesive on to cover the entire sheet, that would be nice.

Bill

Usually the ink from an inkjet printer runs when wet. I'm not sure on your labels though.

Maybe @Ddaddy would know or find out what ink he uses for the t-shirts that he prints... Maybe that would resist water and not smear....

They prescribed that to me and I didn't like the side affects...

However the dosage was all f*cked up:

10 Mg

Take 6 tablets in days 1-4
5 tablets on days 5-6
4 tabs on days 7-8
3 tabs on days 9-10
2 tabs on days 11-12
take 1 tab on days 13-14 with food.... :wtf:

Yeah that dosage is all screwed up, no wonder you had side effects. Those days 5-6 that would be a big shock to your system, too much at once !!

2 tablets a day for a week, nice even pace on your system.

The only thing they tell me is you don't want to be around other people with a cold, cause it is real easy to catch a cold from others with your immune system down while on the medication.

Actually, I want a decal that is clear plastic, that I can print with my inkjet printer. Now, if I could only find the right design for that decal. I suspect the decal above was for the cars with oil filter cartridges, and not the spin on types.

Bill

I knew a few women that were spinners.... :p

I’m in a similar boat. My only option though is Comcast and those fuckers raped me last week, took several hundred dollars out of my account unauthorized. Disputed the charges and got my money back but it’s still a nightmare as they keep trying.

Comcast ripped me off when I was on auto pay and shorted paying back some of it... That's why I do not do auto pay for any service any more... And I don't to comcast either...

I have already been thinking about it, the problem is to find one filter first, so I can get the logo. Taking a picture of it when it is on the filter is not the best solution since it goes around the filter can.

Bill
You don’t need to find a filter, I can create creat the artwork file to get a stamp made. This is just a rough draft. But I can clean it up and make it perfect fairly easily.

I already gave you the link to get it made. You just need the artwork.
