Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Well got the rear in the Cuda, springs are perfect it seems and the wheels I made to at least roll it around work sweet! At least I can open the doors and get some stuff out from the firewall now.

Bill, a plastic garbage can is big enough for a wheel. Cleaning with electrolysis is probably your best option. Cheapest too. I have done it.

I need a plastic "bowl" for it, no matter what. And if I get a little washing soda, and small plate of stainless steal, I am pretty much good to go. All the rust will separate from the steel, and if not a lot of power, some steel will even go back to the rim, while most of the rust will loosen and fall down.

I wonder if there any companies here that sand blastes rims, and what they want for a rim.

Bill

Do you have a recipe for this set up? How much water = to how much of what washing soda? Distilled water or tap? What AMP setting for the charger?

Oh, goodmorning, btw.
Slept in today. Finish my coffee and gotta run. Lots of work is rolling in.

I cannot see sandblasting being much. We used to throw them in the booth while doing other items. $10 each tops!

I used enough water to cover the part. I didnt use stainless, just a steel rod. And i used a small amount of clr.
2 amp setting on charger, part you want to clean should be bubbling, not the rod. I think neg clip on part and pos on rod.
Can add more clr or washing soda if its not bubbling much.
Can use salt too. Part needs to be cleaned and painted immediately.

saw a video where a guy used a welder, a little much in my opinion.

Harrisburg, $45 per hour easily do 4 rims in that time, and no *** pain. My time is worth that easily.

When I do the vac advances the rule of thumb is .3 ams per square inch. DC voltage. Yes negative clip on part, pos on anode.

Just brought the Neon in for front end alignment. Had appointment and looks like they are getting right to it.
Good Morning

I got a video from Ddartdude. He just put a clutch in his second car. Looks good and sounds great. A 380 horse/360 crate under the hood. Should be a fun one.

Whatt did you do for springs? Stanley?

Heck I'm just getting going. LOL
May back the garage today.
Gotta figure out why there is oil on the intake and climbing the valve covers.
Figure I'll do the paper over breather tube check first. Then PCV.
It's either blowby or the intake's bolts are bottoming out or such. Right?
