Take some old tires, cut them up and make a padded section to help reduce the pressure points that will lead to damage

@Rainy Day Auto and all others interested.
Go to your local rock farm/quarry or mine with conveyor belts. Ask if they have any used conveyor belt material they are willing to part with. It's black, it's flat and easy to cut with a Stanley razor knife. Could be anywhere from 18"-48" wide by no telling how long. Look at the corded inner core and determine the thicker rubber side to be put next to the object to remain undamaged. Easily drilled with a power drill. There are specialty tools for that purpose, not worth messin' with for just a few holes. A sharp wood chisel and a wooden backup and hammer will work too if square holes are not an issue.

It's Fargo Friday!

I'm doing Turkey again this year. did it last year for the first time ever, wife LOVED it so I get stuck repeating. Last year, I did a 10 lb bird. This year, Kroger had Turkeys on sale for 37 cents per pound. I got a 29 lb turkey, well 2 of them. Probably do one for Christmas as well.
That is a great deal, but at that weight it's an older bird. Not sure how old, but might tend to be a bit dry.Your recipe you plan to use should help with that. Just keep it basted. Maybe inject... I've never done one quite that big, but once you get in the 20+ range it is easy to dry them out due to long cook times. Do not stuff a bird that big. Some celery and onion in the cavity is good though.

I was looking at the Tesla Cyber Truck today and it occurred to me that it looks like it should be the companion vehicle for the APC in the movie Aliens...

I had hopes for it. But seems like they're missing the 6 sigma QA.
2 for 3 on the windshield?
in public!
Oops.

Thursday is looking like it should be salt free.
I'll probably go to the 'frostbite rally' and catch up with some friends.
Prob be crowded. Might be lazy and drive the wagon and park on the street.
@Ddaddy and anyone else whose in the area that day.
Frostbite Mopars, and others

Back home after a long day at hospital. Surgery outcome was not quite as good as we hoped but we remain optimistic. We will get Biopsy results back in a few days but in the interim they now want to do the CT scan thing. She was super loopy on the way home she agreed to a new Mopar and deer rifle!

IDK if I can make it, Thanksgiving tends to be fully scheduled with family. Give me the details of where and when and I will let you know.

When you show up with either and tell her when she agreed to it...
