Early Morning for the toolman. Taking off for Chicago in a half hour. Looking forward to MCACN.

Morning MOPAR world.
All set up ready for the show. Lots of A B and E body cars here 440’s Hemi they have them all. Lots or nice cars.

Well wishing you a quick two weeks and nice weather. Going to be nice here for winter Chicago weather. Doesn’t matter though these kind of shows is what we work hard for. I’d recommend this show to any muscle car lover.

I have to get motor together and in the Coronet this time home. Otherwise no shakedown time for January and the trip to Tucson.

Was just talking with Mike on the phone. They’re on the road headed this way.
Sure it’s tough home dividing your time trying to get all the things done you’d like to accomplish.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Anyone doing anything fun or exciting?

Just working Johnny. Dreaming about going to the Ziptie Drags in January and getting some track time in for the first time in a long time.

Fargo is in shop, finish exhaust today.

the bridge is officially open, so the only set of traffic lights are gone.
There is a pedestrian walkway, my wife and her boss are going to walk across and back.
Boss is a 20 minute walk from here, its another 20 at least from here to far end of bridge.

PRI in indy is next on my travel list, and then Barrett Jackson in scottsdale in Jan.
Contemplating doing the power tour this year. Hopefully i'm home enough to run points at the local track come racing season.

My boys told me, didnt ask, that we are going on Power Tour this year. Will have to see what car we take.

I'm in the same boat....do i streetify the racecar.....or racify the street car..... option 2 is probably the easier of the two. lol

I'm a bit lost on how powertour "works" though. I was under the impression there were classes...trophies...you're actually competing for something. But i had a "long hauler" from last year tell me you basically just show up, and its all for fun. Fun is cool...but I'd like to know i'm doing SOMETHING other than converting gasoline to CO2, and emptying my wallet. at least a plaque? lol

Long ways to go, have to rebuild all the spring mounts, hangers and shackles are worn out, brakes need 100% overhaul.
Frame needs some repair, theres a farmer patch i need to deal with. Safety inspectors dont take kindly to pig welded frames....

that a weld that looks like pigshit...

Looks like you want to do drag week. Would be a good event for Blueprint considering the race and street driving that you have to compete. Durability test. There is racing available with power tour but it is more a big road trip with like minded people.

but you can still run it back and forth in the driveway.
