So there other car a truck has a leaking break line and has to be fixed by Monday. Great guess who gets to do that one. Ron loaded the trailer u with scrap and was going to the dump t yesterday, but I was down so was to go today, and no way I can do it. And to top it off I am ubering almost every day next week!:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

PRI in indy is next on my travel list, and then Barrett Jackson in scottsdale in Jan.
Contemplating doing the power tour this year. Hopefully i'm home enough to run points at the local track come racing season.
I’ll be at PRI this year

Glad she's fine, man that sucks.

Hey folks. Talked to my engine builder today (after my exam which went ok, thanks for asking). He suggested - for a budget build - a 4.150” crank making it a 500 cui engine with either Eddy RPM or Mopar Stage IV heads, a mopar 0.590” lift solid flat tappet cam and an Edelbrock RPM dual plane intake. That should put me comfortably above 500 hp.

Easily. The thing you have to watch, you have a 400 block. You start getting north of 472 cubes, you have to really watch both oil and wear due to the shortened pistons. If you plan to drive it on the street a LOT, make sure you watch it close for wear. With the 500, you’re gonna be in the edge, definitely would not go any higher.

Morning MOPAR world.
All set up ready for the show. Lots of A B and E body cars here 440’s Hemi they have them all. Lots or nice cars.
383 is an underappreciated engine. Go get 'em!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Anyone doing anything fun or exciting?
Tool library is selling off excess. Walking over there with some cash at 9 to see what they've got.
Might see about putting the data logger in the car tommorrow. There's a chance I'll take it to Atco Friday morning for the T&T. They don't open if its too cold or wet and this time of year that's more often than not. Heck - last year Thanksgiving was a snow covered one...
I'm a bit lost on how powertour "works" though. I was under the impression there were classes...trophies...you're actually competing for something. But i had a "long hauler" from last year tell me you basically just show up, and its all for fun. Fun is cool...but I'd like to know i'm doing SOMETHING other than converting gasoline to CO2, and emptying my wallet. at least a plaque? lol
Its somewhat annoying that so many motoring events assume that everyone knows how they work.
Sounds like you might be more into Drag Week as Stephen said. Definately requires a decent amount of prep and shakedown runs.

Hey Steve. Brewing the last of your stuff as we type, definitely need a strong wake up.
Pace yourself!

Boy that new Tesla truck is a ugly thing for sure.

Was just talking with Mike on the phone. They’re on the road headed this way.
Sure it’s tough home dividing your time trying to get all the things done you’d like to accomplish.
