Stop in for a cup of coffee

Front end is done, just put wheels back on and road test.
Then back to the impala.
Exhaust and coolant leak.

Got my yard cleanup done. Raked up wood chips where I was running the splitter. Ran down the leaves with the mower. Also mowed down the dried op plants in the flower beds and some kind of ornamental grass she has right in front of the porch. I have a big zebra grass out back and a couple others I will do in the Spring. Turkey will be a while, so taking a light lunch break and then go work on making a car spot in the garage.

Just watching a little of the football game. I don't recall if I have ever watched the Lions play before. LOL. Were they going for a Robocop Halloween costume look, pajamas, or just ugliest uniform ever? :wtf:

I have firewood.... (see above post...)
Me too.

Here's the view out of my bedroom window when I woke up this morning... :BangHead:

50 - 60 MPH wind gusts yesterday... This must have fallen while I was at work yesterday....

It has a power line trapped under it and the power line is against my back garage....

Luckily it just grazed the back corner of the garage and only bent a little of the gutter away from the corner of the garage... No major damage to the garage, but the pole on the north side is now leaning against the garage and may need to be replaced.... The roots that got pulled up are taller than me... That tree must be at least 150 years old or more....

Looks like I will be cutting up some firewood this weekend....

To give you some perspective, that's a 6 foot chain link fence behind this trunk...

That could have gone a lot worse...

I am curious about how Thanksgiving dinner will turn out in relation the the weightwatcher points. We have ham and turkey, mashed taters, a s asparges for veggie, and stuffing. But the stuffing is not in the turkey.

Bill

Ok, then I will not have Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Bill
No!... I don't know any diet that would deny you a thanksgiving feast. But if you must make the numbers, it's no different than any other meal. Just control the portions and enjoy!

My wingman just called a moment ago after making a short (for him) trip to Santa Barbara for his family Thanksgiving. "Traffic on 101 is AFU". There are 4 major north-south thoroughfares in California 2 of which are closed due to snow and the one on the east side of the Sierra-Nevadas is "Chains Only". I might have to take a ride up the hill to 101 to see just how bad it is . Happy Thanksgiving.

I like some American food, turkey the American way is one of them. But, I am not used to sugar stuff in my dinner. Jam and sweet stuff is for breakfast or lunch, cold meals, and deserts. Dinner / warm meals I want sugar free, no honey or anything like that.

I will eat both the turkey, and the ham, but if the ham has glazing on, I'll cut it off and eat what is in the middle. And eat a small portion. I can not eat the big portions. And after like over ten days of normal or smaller portions I get sick if I eat too much.

Bill

No sweet on the meat or fish....

I'm not big on sweets, but enjoy a glazed ham with hard baked edges. We just finished(first plate anyway) Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, canned 'jelled' cranberry sauce was about the only thing with any sweetness. Pumpkin pie for later.
Sweet fish would just be weird. LOL

Oh believe me, here they manage to glace salmon, I have more or less seen it all here. Ruined food I call it.....

Bill

They even glace the shrimps and spice it so much I have no idea what I am eating.

Hello all. Happy turkey day.....
Oh nice, today it's "hello all" instead of "what's up men"

I almost set you to ignore because you obviously didn't give any regard to mixed company, but I see today is the day reformation.

Happy Thanksgiving
