Had someone tell me the other day that one from a 2007 hemi ram with a stick shift will fit also, and has more grunt, and is smaller... I'll be trying that one next time!

I always bring them with me. 3-4 a day, you do the math. Been here for two months. LOL
Can not mail them here in advance. Believe me, I have tried that.....took 5 months for them to return them ... LOL. I was sure, they were lost forever in the VN Black MarketYou are spoiled Mitch. Good on you

So, these mini starters... Were all the mopar starters interchangeable regardless if slant up thru big block? And if so I guess all the mini's interchange as well?
What cars have them on if I want to grab one for my Duster?
I was going to a yard today to look for a TIPM for the Journey, but postponed at least till Friday or maybe next week. So could possibly get a starter while there. Not sure if I will change it, since I have tried to keep Cinnamon pretty much original looking. Would be nice when it sits a while to have a bit more, but it isn't that hard starting...

Dodge Dakota starters = mini starters. I think they're mostly interchangable as long at the tooth counts are the same
I used a mid 90's Dakota application. I think the noses and bolt circles are the same.

The Dakota one mentioned above is the "junkyard" one most go for. I'm sure magnum 5.2 5.9 ram trucks had them as well.
IDK if i'd ever bother busting my knuckles to buy a $20 junkyard starter of unknown life, vs getting on on rockauto or amazon for $75. but your call there.
the next rockauto one i get will be that 2007 hemi-manual trans starter. its NOT the typical Slant six-440 starter pictured above, but supposed to bolt on just the same.

3 spark plugs, not that old all have carbon tracks. One is a black stripe 1/4” wide down the insulator.
Bad boot,or bad wire on other mating plug. i usually silicone grease the boots, and have never had this problem. Gm v6.

Found this guys stuff while looking for info on the starters. Did you know there was more than one type of big starter? He also has a lot more Mopar vids that look interesting.
Tried yesterday - guess I was wrong. Need a newer Miller catalog or such.
Well, the smoking have just started. The weather is cold, a tiny little drizzle in the air so it is perfect for smoking salmon. Just need to keep turning the smoker on and off with like half an hour in between. Should have had a timer for that. But, I am not that advanced.
