Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have no idea why I didnt buy one of these years ago.

Before i would have to unbolt and move the coolant expansion tank and take the wheel off, inner wheel cover and use a Jack to lift or lower the engine to get a 3/8 breaker bar on the tensioner from the bottom.

This tool took all that and turned it into a 5 second job without turning a single bolt.

I have 2 of those kits. I bent one bar to the left and the other to the right. For the hard to reach ones.

so true on a for sale ad

That car SCREAMS buyer beware!!

From the article...

I recently acquired this car. I have not done anything to it to get it running, it has been sitting about 5 years. The distributor has been removed and the drive shaft (included) was also removed by the previous owner.

Hahaha it should read.....Ignition has been overrode and broken and was sitting in the weeds for a few years that I can remember. Should run with a little TLC! Gramps last had her running in 2012 but took the distributor out to change points and never put er' back in! She's a good ol' girl though and will fire right back up no sweat when you slam the dizzy back in er'! Just whack the dash a couple times and she'll crank right over and fire up! Runs a bit rough but it's an old Mopar and will never die!

:lol::thumbsup:

I could use a warm, dry weekend. Its been a month of cold, snowy or rainy weekends. I've got to finish my mini shed

you might know this, I'm thinking of getting one of those spark detector lights, the ones that plug into the spark plug wire and then into the spark plug, any idea if those can be used between the coil and dizzy too?

Time to warm up my truck.
Days like this i really appreciate my remote starter. Actually i can call it a command start, as it is actually that. Old,like 20 years old.
I have a few really old ones stashed away,from the early days of remote starters.

Dont see why not,but dont know if it will run with it installed.

Yes they can why though? Screwdriver or coil wire works fine. Better yet lick it and jump the starter relay! Chris just take 12v and run it to the + side of the coil and see if you get spark. If you do it is a wiring issue, if not ignition side. You can get 12v to the coil but no amps also easily with old wiring. That's what a load light is for.
