Stop in for a cup of coffee

I try to stay off of there as much as I can. Think the last time I was on it was two or three years ago meeting up with OMR.

Good morning Timmy

I get a kick out of how they do major road projects. Figure out what is needed NOW spec it out, Bid them out... Till job is done it's already not enough. We have one interchange project on 83. I think it started in 2015 to be completed by 2018. This summer they said they were going to fine the contractor 20K per day till it was complete. Now I think they got an extension till next year. :wtf:
They are always fixing the roads. Why don't they have state employed road crews doing the work. I believe the crew that did our road last year was from MD. I can't remember which one, but there was another big project a few years ago that was done by an outfit from Georgia. What do they know about building roads for snow and ice?

Well men, got to run, need plugs and master cylinder for Victory, my youngest son gave me a 100 dollar gift certificate to help me along on my 66 Plymouth

Ain't you done that yet? :poke:
nope, I took care of my brother and lived here with me 5 months, doctors appointment and chemo for lung cancer, we I laid him to rest a little over a month ago. My hart and mind was not on my car.. but I am back on it now

I understand. You have your priorities right. Carry on...

The contractor just follows the plans devised by the local engineering entity in charge. I supplied road materials for state, county, and city projects for almost 40 years and many times I could see from the engineering specs the material wouldn't last more than a few years. Numerous times I got the "That's the way they do it in Europe." explanation from the inspectors in charge. "This ain't Europe!" :lol:was usually my response. Every now and then they would come up with some engineering that would actually improve the products and I had no problem with complying. But some of their experiments, Oy Vey :BangHead:.

Good Morning!!
I was busy looking for a LATCH HANDLE GRILLE PANEL BRACKET 67 68 BARRACUDA CUDA FORMULA S MOPAR 2582535. I was told it might take some time to find. It did about five minutes. My has a small unknown cut in the edge of the metal near the hood spring. I'm not sure why, but figured for $18.00 I'll clean/paint this part up and replace the current one.
Cold here today. Rained most of the weekend, but its been a dry winter so far (yea!!) so a good soaking helps.
Have a great kinda MOPAR day!!
