Stop in for a cup of coffee

Getting ready for a line of storms tonight and early morning, I believe it near 70 degrees outside

Hey, my Christmas present from my Wife finally arrived this evening! It was on back order so all I got on Christmas Day was a picture of it. Just put it in the garage...I like it!

I'm getting excited for the weekend.

There is a shindig about an hour away tomorrow night. Not sure if it's worth the effort.

Going to try to get some shop time too, gotta few buckets if bolts to sort.

a few days ago the news was saying there was supposed to be snow here.....it is cold but nothing on any radar for snow now. It's just windy and the wind is frigid otherwise going to be at least 50* all weekend

It’s supposed to be very warm here for the next few days. It is our normal “January Thaw” coming a week early and 10* above normal for what it usually is, low 60s for the next couple of days followed by another week of above average temps.

I don’t mind a bit, a mild Winter is good...but I also wonder what the rest of the season and Summer will bring.

Traditionally, a mild Winter brings a mild Summer around here...but who knows what will happen.

I just want to be enjoying warmer weather sooner than later.

I never watch videos because I always play videos in the background so i can listen while I work.

I actually watched one of my favorite songs and now I think I need a Detomaso Pantera.

Dang what a sleek, sexy car

-27. Brrrr.
Glad fargo is in shop. I have something to do tomorrow. Indoors and warm.
More frame repairs.

Well got the measurements for the perches. So I get to cut and weld on Sunday. Tomorrow is my Grandmothers 90th birthday.

Ssssssshhhhh the fabo coffee crew is sleeping.

The coffee machine is cold and won't be percolating for another 4 hours or so.

Ssssssshhhhh

So what do you think of using 318 exhaust manifolds on a 360??

The situation is: I am putting together a 74 dust pan. Came in with a locked and trashed 318.

Someone had converted it to dual exhaust.
So I took the offending 318 out and put in a running 77 360 complete with manifolds.

Problem is the exhaust was built around the 318 manifolds which has a different angle on the driver side. The 318 manifold has more of a twist under the steering shaft and towards the inner fender. Just enough to not fit but almost, not exactly, So options are:

Remove the exhaust pipe and cut and weld a piece of pipe that was on the 360 car to eliminate the 318 manifold twist

Or

Install the 318 manifolds on the 360 and bolt them right up to the exhaust

I would use the 318 manifolds and use a die grinder to port match the 318 manifolds to the 360 ports in the head so they don't restrict the flow...

Keep with the theme of the budget build...

I've done that in a 360 that I put in a Charger before....
