Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sooo Since I bought my 5th wheel, the black water valve has had a slow leak. Ordered new valve, took out the def valve, the seals were not installed correctly. Well, WTH, no way to install the new valve without cutting two PVC pipes, and then having to repair the cuts!!!! Those designers could use some learning IMO.

You mean your house on wheels.

Designers never consider repairs, just builds. They only have one speed...forward to production.

Those designers don't care, you bought into it and now it's your problem. In the mean time they moved on and prolly don't even remember designing it like that.

If engineers had to fix things, the world would be a better place

Yea, that thing... They glued everything together, with no room for slack. Need 2 inches of slack to get valve in the proper spot. No way near that. Just what the valve thickness is, that is all the slack....

I'm trying to locate a member but I can't remember his screen name.

It was like

Nublu72

Or nubie72

Maybe nubs72.

Something like that, he cloned a custom car to look like a demon out of a 74 duster.

I know who you mean but I cannot recall his stage name...

My projects funds and so far its winning since I have a soft spot for chevys.
That’s a decent truck at a fair price. No doubt that you would never lose any money on it...and might make a few bucks if you clean it up and ever decide to sell it. Trucks are hot right now.

Yea, I agree. It's just these funds are intended for a vette I've been dreaming about for a while. Nothing special just a stick shift c6 for me to use as a dd. They're going for cheap right now especially with the c8 on the eve of being released. I imagine the market will be flooded with c6's after the c8's hit the market. The only downside to this is I have no place other than the street to park it. My driveways and shop in the back are way too steep for the vette to clear them. So I've been trying to convince myself that it's not the right time for that car. What do?

Hey kids, Just talked to a buddy of mine that is going in for major heart surgery tomorrow at Mayo. He was in tool and dye at Deeres and followed me home one night. He became a good customer and a good friend. I could tell he was nervous and rightly so bit I told him not to worry. Those people are professionals and it's just another day at the office for them. He is in good hands. Mayo is the best of the best. Prayer sent his way for a speedy recovery.

No one better than you to understand his fears and give him comfort about the process an the likely success.

Wishing him the best!

The body guy that did my kids Firebird agrees, has bought up and turned over quite a few. Easy to work on I think, have seen some nice ones go out of there.

Well. Gee, that was fun.

The microwave went into thermal runaway while I was heating my dinner (3 mins on 50% power) and blew the hell out of the rotating glass dish. I went out to the garage for about 20 mins and heard the glass shatter. WTF?

Both me and my wife suspected it was acting a bit funky over the last week with the light staying on occasionally and running longer than programmed, but we didn’t think much of it.

Damned thing is trash now as far as I am concerned. Time to get a replacement.

So much for dinner...looks like it’s just a cheese sandwich and go to bed.

Evenin yall. A friend and I have been hittin the gym right heavy since the 1st of the year. Boy am I SORE. I haven't worked out regularly since high school and "a little" after. My friend is a Gray Police officer and in "very good condition" compared "to me" and he is acting as my personal trainer. He has also made us meal plans. As of now, I have lost 11 pounds. I am determined not to be fat anymore. But it's a "*****".

Every time I use a microwave I remember my HS Electronics instructor telling stories of his military service and their unauthorized use of a metal box on the ground and a carefully aimed radar antenna to heat their C Rations

I turned off the under counter light on the microwave as I was shutting down the house and it turned itself back on a few seconds later.

That’s it...I have completely disconnected it from power now.
