Stop in for a cup of coffee

Have two grandsons here that spent the night. 9 and 10. I’m getting too old to wrestle around with them.

The Chiefs game will be a cold one with a 20 degree game time temp.
Glad I'm a season ticket holder...at the house. Sounds cold brrr!!
Cheryl is making up a pot of shrimp/sausage jambalaya..yum!!

Thinking about braving the walk to the shop.
From this to this reality sucks

RRR your post about your cat made me think of our old cat. He was a red tabby weighing in at 20 pounds.
Once he jumped up on the couch with my then five year old daughter.
She gleamed laying there, saying "look Dad he's laying on me". This was followed by panic and gasps saying "I can't breath".
Haha he was a big boy.
Lots of love and affection!!

A few degrees above freezing. Sun is out nice. The ice shell is starting to lift. Probably have to throw a little salt in front of the garage where it stays mostly shaded. Getting much colder later, so will scrape off what doesn’t melt before it refreezes.

Was kinda surprised how good the roads were coming home last night. Mostly just wet. They really laid the salt on. A couple of the worst hills looked like gravel roads. lol

Got a brisket going in soon. 250° for 6+ hours. I'm trying out a new low salt rub. It sure smells good.

She made a huge pork roast for new years and half went in the freezer. Think that will be sandwiches today. Also there's a big pan of lasagna in the fridge.
