I have seen them go on sale lower also. Keep away from the oilless ones.

TJ, Hoppy.
What are the shipping delays like when sending parts across the border ?

Morning all!! Frenzy Friday for all you working stiffs.

Matt last year I bought a part from a MOPAR guy in Canada. It took 10 days for the part to get to me.

Been helping two great old friends that has never prepared for a paint job on an old race car , 69 Rambler with a LS in it , they enjoy George Rays every weekend.
A fun few day this week.

Thanks.
Made calls to about five speedometer and instrument repair places.,
John Wolf & Co. (Oh) and Mr Heaterbox (Ont) both seemed like they would be good.
Wolf does all sorts of stuff and Heaterbox is specialized in AMC and Chrysler.
I am leaning toward keeping in the US if there's custom delays and inspections.

Hey Ben, Chris....
I built my Air compressor. Could have a larger tank, and a smaller pulley on the motor, 3hp, real 3hp, 220 volt, will keep up with any tool....
Room to improve by adding ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of.
Still haven't heard back from the restoration person at Orna-metal. I'm hoping they will take on the plastic rechroming and detailing. Other places are 6 month minumum.
So thats the critical path on the timeline.

Getting close to the end with this rear diff. Just in time for a warm weekend to swap it out.
Just cleaned the bolts for cover and the tags. Letting rust inhibitor dry then a shot of paint and then i can slam on cover and fill it.
Spring cant come soon enough.

You see this Matt?
Easy Chrome - The World's Most Exotic Finishes
Looks good to me....
Does look good. Would have to check coverage and some reviews. Not cheap though. Your probably halfway to real chrome price for just the materials... Good to have options though, someday real chrome might not be an option. And real chrome price just keeps going up, this stuff will probably get cheaper.

For plastic.

I'll let others experiment. It would have to be real thin not to lose the details. The other question is how well the black and brushed aluminum paints will still to it.
Besides I don't have the hand or experience to do the masking and detail work. This needs to be outsourced.

I have been trying to figure out how to re-chrome the plastic stuff Mopar used in the dash, interior...

Morning...
Lately they are trying to make every day a frenzy at work. I’m way overdue for a FOF! At least it looks like I will be off Sunday this week. And I took a Vacation day for Monday. Have a few to use up by end of March.
