There go our Navy wingnuts on their afternoon exercise. Right on time.
Thanks!I don't know how you do it Dave but I sure like it.
Wow, that's crazy!
Apparently, yes. What? Do they recommend bushings for higher valve spring pressures?
Apparently, yes.
Evening all, getting ready to get wet.......2 inches in one day...
Same here......Maybe .1-.25" up this way. They say it start in a few hours, but I see no sign of it. 70+ out there a little while ago. Got the windows and doors open to cool the place off
We got 0.25” of rain so far today and it’s still coming down. It’s also a balmy 34* with a 15 mph breeze.Maybe .1-.25" up this way. They say it start in a few hours, but I see no sign of it. 70+ out there a little while ago. Got the windows and doors open to cool the place off
Doors shellacked or lightly stained?
Chair rail was added sometime later.Doors shellacked or lightly stained?
Chair rails suggest there was wallpaper below at one time.

I saw that.
Yep. The radiators are gone in the whole house except for one in the basement, the bathroom on the main floor. and on the staircase landing. I like radiators. They really hold the heat.
They just need a boiler, that can blow up.....No problem that I can see.....Yep. The radiators are gone in the whole house except for one in the basement, the bathroom on the main floor. and on the staircase landing. I like radiators. They really hold the heat.
Nope, not steam, just hot water. Our boiler heats a gallon and a half at a time. They just need a boiler, that can blow up.....No problem that I can see.....
Except it can’t. Each radiator is individually vented with a pressure relief valve in addition to the one on the boiler, so overpressure on the main boiler will never occur. Steam radiator systems are low pressure for heating..not like a high pressure steam locomotive or ship boiler for generating power for movement. They just need a boiler, that can blow up.....No problem that I can see.....
