Stop in for a cup of coffee

A bit of welding to do on the Fargo frame, and thats it.
Then i will knock out all the rivets holding rear suspension to frame and replace with bolts. To prepare for different spring hangers and diff. Driveshaft is too short. But i has a plan for that.

Bout this time every year i get to fight for an hour with my trucks clock :p trying to remember how to reset it!
Buddy picks me up in his truck,i have to reset his clock. He cant figure it out either.

For many years this older gentleman would find me after the time change so i could set his watch. “Spaceman John”
He would buy my coffee and we would have a visit twice a year.
He actually believed he was from outer space. Was quite the character.
But my little town is, or was full of interesting people,
Old Ernie Donan, was a water witch. A very successful one at that.
Would strip down naked and walk around with a cardboard box covering his midsection.
Waiting for something to happen.
and it did,and would mark the place to drill a well. Always found water.
So many memories from such a small town,i am so lucky to be living here.

Thats pretty far out there....pun intended. Lol

That's what makes a small town fun!

I really enjoyed growing up here.
But as time goes on, there’s more and more strangers, not one even willing to give you the time of day. Hold the door for some and they look at me like im committing a crime.
All the old guys are passing on,and many of them made great contributions to this community.

I am lucky here don't know a ton of people but met a few home grown old timers. Amazing eole. You should see some of the stuff in their barns, Car collections, Tractor collections etc. Have to gain their trust to see them and then sworn to secrecy where they are! Tim saw just a bit of it when he was here.

Nice low 60's here today!
