Ya. Big advantage of those contraption. You can walk away from them and generally no disaster if you forget about them!

I decided I only like the drip method if the wate ris boiling hot - so stove top kettle - with a whistle for me. Need the whistle - I sometimes forget its on. :BangHead:

I have a old Cuisinart that I like it drips into a reservoir and keeps the coffee hot. Really like it.

I like my espresso machine. It's Cafe du Monde Monday BTW :D. Stove top percolators rock:thumbsup:. My wingman, he doesn't do coffee at all. I showed him one of the perks of being a coffee aficionado on the way to the drags Saturday morning.

You have a nice coffee maker.

My grandfather used to make cowboy coffee .. boil water in small pot, throw in coffee grounds, boil and then strain over cup.. he always fortified it with a couple ounces of red wine.. lived to be 93 and always healthy ..he had the old triangle toaster that did one side at a time to the end also.. loved that guy, but that coffee wasn't for me

The strain over cup part should work pretty much like my press. Not sure about wine in it though.

I've changed keyboards and mousepads on 2 laptops. The first worked great. Second one I broke the keyboard connection to the motherboard and ended up trashing it. Parts were available fairly cheap on ebay.
