Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ag diesel is cheap. No road use taxes. But don't get caught running it in your pick-up or farm truck. You'll get nailed to the cross.
heck yeah you will
Never get caught in a pickup, they have no reason to check....
DOT checks randomly at any and all farm shows and tractor pulls. Last month, they nailed over 1700 farmers for it at the Louisville show, 100 dollar per gallon fine. Plus they can seize your fuel tank at home as well as your truck.

I just saw where TXDart passed away. He stopped by the coffee shop occasionally. He had a red 66 Dart. RIP Martin!

We lost a member.
Dang, no wonder he hasn't responded for a long time. I remember him a lot back when fabo had a chat room.

This is happening too much lately, on FCBO, another member passed who was a good guy to go back and forth with.

Imagine the revenue if the company had to pay road tax on the hot plant dryer fuel. On a really good day 1 1/2 gallons/ton of asphalt and 175tons/hr.

Even here they do at times I was making my own diesel fuel for my 4 ton truck and got pulled into a weigh station and they checked my fuel and got fined for not paying road tax on my homemade fuel.
on homemade? that sucks

The moon was nuts this morning.

The white light is the moon. This was at 5:30 am

The oil patch around here used to have a lot of pumping units that ran on drip gas. The County shut that down because it was totally unregulated. Straight out of the ground, through a couple filters, into an internal combustion engine, 24/7. Every manner of motor from I6s to BBCs

Same here They burn off some of the natural gas instead of running the generators and have to haul diesel fuel to the oil rigs to power them.
We got good crude oil here and would run it in my Scamp and the 340 loved it.
Yea I know people think I'm nuts for doing it but I know the math.

I should have checked the jet stream map this morning. It's not heavy rain, but there is 100 miles of it in a long ribbon and jet stream is bringing it straight into the valley.

There's an asphalt oil plant and a coke plant in this valley for good reason. Crude VERY heavy. Sweet ends are just a nominal by-product.

Removed 16 rivets that hold the rear suspension on,and replaced with bolts. 40 minutes. Thats quick. With my old air hammer i would be on rivet 4 in about the same time.

As of now, the wife cancelled our cruise. One port closed to all cruise ships. Chances are the rest will close too. So will try again next year.

Good call, see that the idiots took two crew members from the ship in California and sent them to work in Florida! Guess what!

Hey Hoppy, I see someone needs a early Barracuda rear defrost.
