Stop in for a cup of coffee

Have to wonder if that is a big part of what 'they' are worried about. The current escalation of precaution seems to far exceed the danger we have heard about so far.
Was in Giant last night. TP is almost 'wiped' out. Why? Not because anyone locally is using more. Someone else ran out, So we stock up and make everything worse. Yep, the wife got an extra pack yesterday...
I will probably get a case of water and fill the extra propane bottle for the grill.
Good Morning
so i finally broke down to check, holy crap. literally, Amazon, Sams, Costco etc all sold out

Dumb. Masks dont protect the wearer.
Maybe is so he wont touch his face.
Actually that's incorrect from what I have read. Primary entry is by breathing in airborne virus from others. Secondary is picking up from surfaces and touching your mouth and nose.

My daughter is in Princeton NJ. Tough to find any TP there. Wife thought maybe she could order some and ship. Thought she found some...Got to checkout before it said NOPE!

Got more info on that '64 D100 the brat-in-law is lookin' at. Teen with at least a aluminum manifold, Holley, and headers. It's got a Push Button in it :D. The wood in the bed has been redone. If he chooses not to get it, I may just have to slap him .

Wow. Glad we went shopping at sams club a couple weeks ago, I bought their big pack , usually lasts us quite a while, few months.

this could get quite messy

Here I went to the market the other day and picked up some extra canned goods because the weather is sposed to be nasty for another week :realcrazy:

I need to get another pound or two soon.

What are we talkin' about here????

Any of you guys have thoughts on using helicoils on flywheel mounting flange of the crank?

No reason it wont work, but i would consider going oversize.
Guess finding oversize flywheel bolts would be a challenge. Going metric may be another option.

Those flywheel/flex plate bolts are not standard and have oversize heads...

I would heli coil/keen sert it with loctite on the insert and make sure to torque the bolts without any loctite...

Only thing that had run out of on the shelf at the supermarket was the 2 lb containers of store brand oats.
LOL.

nice. I just got back from Advance Auto, man they are getting very very bare in there. but the good part is, all the old V8 stuff is still in stock!

Yay! Got my well pump motor shaft seal. Guess what I will be doing Monday on my day 'off'.
Really should not take that long. Have done it before on previous same model pump. I just know how my luck goes with plumbing....:BangHead:

No appts today. Brought in my gas tank, decided to check and clean. Yup. Its full of gummy gas. Pulled sender, pickup is plugged. Got it cleared and now its soaking.
Tried carb cleaner,nope.
Brake cleaner, nope.
I have a gallon of gunwash for my spray guns. Dissolved it quick. I get it for free from my buddy at the body shop.
Have to pick up some more.
1/2 gallon in gas tank and 1/2 gallon of gas and i can already see its loosesened it up nicely. now i have to get it out. Then wash it. Soap and water.air dry and good as new.

Yeh… I recall reading that somehow the head flexes or something to lock it in. Not sure how a threaded insert will affect that.

i HIGHLY doubt they'll cancel knob creek. That takes a miracle

Just called down there and they said they have no plans to cancel the shoot. Now just have to decide if it is worth it to us to be in a group of 20K people for a weekend....

I sure hate plumbing.
As a maintenance tech it is certainly my least favorite. At least this is clean water side. Drainage is the worst...
Friend of mine briefly worked for a plumber early in his career. Boss told him "Two things you need to know to be a plumber. Payday is Thursday. And, Don't bite your fingernails"

yeah I don't know. Only time I've ever seen them cancel was several years ago when the bridge got washed out. personally, I'd go. but I'd be leery about it for sure

Still printer shopping -again. Think I have found what I will get. HP8025. Same price as the Epson ($100) and most of the same capability. Not a 'photo' printer, but looks like it should work for that. The other one had the dedicated tray and 'photo black' ink. Has full 200+ sheet tray and looks like it is built more sturdy. Other one the outfeed tray and screen were both motorized and flimsy. Look like something to break. And as said previous, the paper tray only held 100 sheets, but was a pain to get even half that in.

If you do a lot of B&W, I'm using the HP laserjet P1102w.
Cartriges last a long time and quality is good.
The rare times I need color printing, or 11x17, I have a epson WorkForce 7510. I use it for printing so rarely almost always have to clean the nozzles when I do print.

We don't print that much and definitely want color. I never really looked a laser. I see there are some color lasers that are not crazy expensive. At least not on sale. But when I see stuff for sale at extreme reduced price I have to ask 'what is wrong with it?'...
