Governor Wolf was just on and said 'non essential stores' must shut down. I believe that is starting at midnight. News keeps repeating non essential businesses. That is a big difference. Hope they clarify that soon. Even then, not sure if it affects me. While we don't make medicine. We do make the labels for some. They won't be selling Nyquil without the labels. LOL

Canada telling all the snowbirds to return home. Where is the first place most of them go? The bank. My wife works in the bank. And she is the go-to person for 75% of these people. Not to mention a couple people are home sick (not covid-19) so my wife has to handle everything that comes through the door....

If not already, our banks will be going to drive through only. I just picked up the wifes meds at the drive through pharmacy window. They are still open inside but request only come in if necessary.

Good Afternoon All! Beat the crap out of my John Deere somehow while mowing today (that's what I get for mowing in March lol!) Busted the deflector and flat front left tire, doh! In better news we settled with the builder, two of the major "overages" were split in half so we came up $5,400. Still over by more than we should have been but it's better. Now to convert to low rate mortgage hopefully.

The wife went into work, shouldn't have BUT they are closing so she's just there changing her vm etc. Counseling is all one on one stuff I'm glad, hope she can get FMLA but if they can't it will be unemployment I think. Important thing is she'll be home, she won't survive covid most likely if she got it.

My CEO has been pinging me since late last week trying to get me to make some home made hand sanitizer for personal use since I run manufacturing. I told him everything used to make it is currently on back order as every manufacturer out there is buying it up to replenish the inventory.
He replied an hour ago by text and asked “Can’t we just use grain alcohol?”
I replied “No, it has to be isopropyl alcohol at at least 60% to kill the virus. Ethanol doesn’t really work.”
He replied “What’s the difference? Both are alcohol!”
I replied “Think of it this way, you can drink ethanol and it might make you happy...but if you drink isopropyl alcohol it will make you dead. Same applies to the virus.”
After about 20 mins he replied “OK, I think I get it.”

I think that is everywhere at this point. PA is pretty much shutting down at this point. They said 'for 2 weeks' then look at it again, but reality is they are adding to the closure list daily. July is a long way off though. Nobody is going to make that call yet.
