Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have a pair of sport mirrors for same. Someone had them on a Duster. Butchered the doors a bit and still looked very wrong.

Well finally got a call on the mystery distrib, guy was refereed to me at Chargers.com. No wonder I had no clue. Trusting guy there. Super rare distrib in almost no books not even the Gavin Gullible books. No prefix letter listed prestolight books. IBS 4014G 69.5 440-6 MT. Have it done now, thing was a rusted mess. Actually had the right rebuilt vac advance for it somehow!

Good Morning All! Would have said hello yesterday but no power for 7 hours. Car vs. pole with pole winning handily at end of road. Went down there in the work truck to see if the service lineman needed any help blocking until crew/flaggers got there, nope. Sherriff, fire, ambulance, cable company and power company already on site.

I went ahead and fixed the lawn tractor, pulled the wheel and took it into Les Schwab.....no popcorn and coffee in their waiting area "wait in your car" please. Also got the grass deflector changed out, launched a spring but found it!

That vac advance looks very much like the fargo one.
Hex fitting was loose, i looke inside, i guess thats how its calibrated, adding or removing shims.
If i leave mine connected, it hunts. I checked timing and set it around 8 degrees, connected advance and a minute later it started surging. Pull vacuum hose and it straightens out. Guess i need to vacuum test it.

Need to get my mower deck on soon, still have to sharpen all the blades etc. Want to run the tiller first hopefully this week, ground is kind of wet here. Figured do a garden this year to be safe. Notice the pond water is going down. Here we go again! Absolutely should not be. Saw some one in the field the other day putting fertilizer down so Pretty sure know what going on will get the cops here tomorrow, way to many good bass in there to loos this year.

The older autolite ones are the same style, different arms. Do not loose the spring and shims you need them for the right vac advance curve. I might have one if needed, sounds like it blew out.

Wife is asking for garden too, good idea. Where we want to put it is where we just had 20 alders dropped so would have to excavate if it to be "in ground". May get a nursery again, do potted plants and fence off an outside area so the deer don't eat the apple tree and blueberry bushes we have. I could see bass coming out of that water!

Its funny, wont run worth a **** when engine is cold, pull vac hose and i can drive it before its warmed up. I need to work on the choke, works but takes to long to pull open all the way.
