Stop in for a cup of coffee

Everyone quarantined or what?
Not really, went to a kick *** car auction with a friend.

He bought a few cars. I didn't buy anything because I'm broke right now.

Mustangs!!! Late model mustangs that all have issues that I have to figure out.

One of them is a crank but no start. I went to check the fuel pressure but there's no Schrader valve on the fuel rail.....WTH!!!

Yep no rain down here. Allergies are brutal. Feel better. Dave.
Thanks! We keep going back and forth between wet and dry days so one day it’s pollen and the next it’s mold. Both are off the chart in opposing cycles.

I can feel the difference between the two but both make me feel like crap....just in a somewhat different way.

Yuck.

What year mustank?

The ones with no schrader valve have pressure transducers. Need a scantool to read pressure.
Many times the dpfe/egr feedback sensor goes bad, and kills the 5 volt reference signal. Unplug it and see iffn it runs.
Its got 2 rubber hoses that connect to steel lines off the exhaust on driver’s side.
Another is maf sensor, screws with fuel mixture.

I think they make it so you can't diagnose an auction car before you buy.

They want you to buy it and take it home,...... THEN diagnose it lol

Sometimes it works in your favour.
Some days you are the tire, other days you are the road...

Just did my once-a-day temperature check to make sure I don’t have a fever starting.

98.2*

Wife and daughter do the same every day. They are also both normal so we are all good for another day.

May sound silly, but that simple check has a big impact on the feelings of well-being and helps keep the thought swirl at bay.

We all did the nightly check and I watched everyone’s mood lift noticeably within a short time...including me.

It’s always amazing to me that our higher mind can make decisions to take actions that force our baser mind to stop being a dumb-*** and get the hell out of the way.

Military training is designed to accomplish the same idea. Shut down the base response and let the trained higher mind take control.

Still, it always amazes me how it works.

Humans certainly are interesting critters. :)

I worked on Demon and paid a neighbor kid to shovel snow away from side door to shop. It was drifted about 6 ft or so. We got done just in time, it is snowing sideways again as we speak. Almost April and still a whole bunch of snow on the ground.
Say it aint so,John.say it aint so...

Ya, i agree, in my case just sitting around reading about the goings-on around here i could feel depression setting in. then went and watched some car related videos, researched building a visor for the Fargo and im feeling better. I need some goals. Get my mind off this ****.

So tomorrow i will work on something, leaving my phone on my desk in the office, may do a backup on it as well.

My Wife finally decided to make the corned beef and cabbage that she was going to make in St. Patrick’s Day. Damn, the whole house smells good.

We had it for dinner with enough left over for 3 big bowls with over a half pound of corned beef in each one. We will be eating good for a few days!

but not feeling well in these times makes the mind go places it doesn’t need to

Yeah brother. Caught a bit of it myself. Turned off the news and turned on the rock n' roll, much better. Got out in the garage and it's all better. Keep moving, turn off the over-reported news.

Pulled the tranny out of Duster today....time to fix the flakey 3rd gear issue, pretty sure the lip seal in the direct drum must have a slice in it...the damn thing has also had a vibration...well when I pulled the pan off I figured out the vibration. I'm going with the converter was coming apart by all the metal that was in the pan. Tomorrow I will go through the trans and it will be ready for when the new converter shows up Wednesday...

I put 2 meals of leftovers from mine in the freezer the other day. Had one tonight at work. Yummy.
