no but if it was something simple like the pointer simply falling off or something like that, itd been a cheap and easy fix.
it’s actually aluminum except for the mounting cup

Bit the bullet and going to fix the PT. Since they are in there going to do the timing belt and water pump as well. There goes $1900
Cannot replace it for 1900.00. So..............Does it have a tensioner? Replace that as well IMO

Your absolutely right! Just not what I expected for a car with 70k on it.. Interesting though there was a 08 cruiser in the shop with 90k on it in for the same thing. I figured Chrysler fixed that head gasket issue but apparently not with the 2.4L engines
Turbo puts a lot of stress on things, including the head gasket....IMO

There is a timing kit, all parts related to belt replacement.
Check the smoke reservoir... Electronics run on smoke, it's like blood to them... If you let too much of the smoke out, they won't work.... Fill the smoke back up and put it back together....

Well, I finished this weeks assignments for Solidworks already...

Didn't do much today. Paid some bills, made some phone calls. I did fab the seat brackets for the passenger seat on the Belve. Then I cleaned the 50 year old A100 seats real good with Spray 9 . Sure look different now. Will install them both tomorrow.....

I got nothing done Ubered here around then crashed when we got back. Think I figured out the driving thing is not driving its the conversations in the car with her while driving. Really need to buy a cone of silence!
