So I think I will TRY to do a few things to the Pop today. Exhaust bugs me t is just not level. This will be fun on my back. Got all askew when I put the X pipe in a few years ago. Sure there are a ton of other littles to do also, don't like the curve in the distrib with a vac advance prob will lock that out today. Running a 64 tach drive right now with Petronixs. Seriously thinking of finding a place to put the NOS SW 5" tach in and use the drive. No idea where though.

power window jammed up in my 92 gmc yesterday..
this morning it wouldn't move so I gave it a good push down and it fixed itself.must have come out of its track or something.back to installing cruze motor today.water pump is behind motor mount and its way easier to replace while on floor.
 
So while the wife is asleep, I’m ordering my axles from Cass and then my dana 60 will be ready to go!!


Odds of my dart sitting on its own suspension by summers end are increasing!
 
Goofy weather fact.
Our temperature yesterday literally doubled over the course of the day.

I hope that pattern doesn't hold up.

Guy with holley troubles calls and asks whats wrong with car. Not getting fuel. Or? Its flooded or no spark or?
Its a chevy stroker engine in a 39 dodge. Cant set timing the normal way, as all the body metal is on and out of the line of sight. After i explicitly told him i needed to set timing before he installed the sheet metal.
Headers are cracking due to exhaust pipes have no flex in the mounts.
Now he wants a different carb.
I have no clue what to suggest,he needs to contact edelbrock and ask them. I just dont want to be part of the decision making process.
Burning the cheapest gas,with too much ethanol in it. He wont stop poking around,and wont leave it here so i can figure it out.
I know the distributor has issues, chinese performance kind.

Picked up a can of Sea Foam. Dumped that in and chased it with a half gallon of gas. So, a little over 2 gallons in there should make a nice strong concentration. Ran it to get it up through. Gonna let it sit like 10 min then run a couple min. Will repeat that a few times. Then go add a few more gallons and take a drive if it runs good enough to do that.
Interesting, they also sell a Sea Foam brand concentrated injection cleaner. Similar little bottles To what the Lucas stuff comes in. Same color, price, directions... Hmmm
 
About 85F already! Light breeze making it nice. Sitting under the umbrella out back with my 2nd coffee
 
Well, after the morning’s distractions i have the cruze motor back in the engine bay. Couple hours of connecting stuff and i should have it running.
