thats odd. They had over 100 cars show up for the Super Mods at our local track Friday and Saturday, no fans. My cousin was able to win it. Dirt series around here kicked off 3 weeks ago, same 3 guys have swapped wins and the top 3 spots so far

It is surprising to me too. They have another event this coming Saturday, then they take the summer off.

Had a honda 650/4 engine on a piece of plywood with 2x4 axles steering it with a rope!! I can't believe we did not all die on that thing!!! No brakes, just had a little gas can and when the gas was gone it stopped. Or, a tree, a car, a curb, it stopped then as well.....:lol:

We "Upgraded" it to a stripped down shopping cart, with spoked wheels!!!! Could not figure out the steering, and the project got abandoned, thank god!!! We would have died on that thing for sure!!!!

The shopping cart would have served as a ROPS :lol:. Very safety minded of you :rofl:

And years later, we figured out the steering, and built a Mini rod Tractor!!!!!!!! Same idea........Death on four wheels!!!!

We used to grab a shopping cart at night and flip a coin to see who would get pulled in it behind a car!!!! loser rode!!! Jesus the stupid stuff we did!! It was my car pulling it so I never got in it!!! THAT was a ride!!!!
 
Buddy of mine took a KZ 1000 turbo motor and made a small frame for it. Idled at 35mph or so. One ride he cut it in half! Pretty funny actually.
