9.5 yards is what a truck will hold. A pallet of 60 lb redi mix, same thing. 56 60 lb bags. 1200 for truck, 360 for redi mix!!! Yep a big difference!!!I bet. Cheaper to mix than have delivered out there?
Around here, patio grade, what they call locally anyway, goes for 75 a yard. Same strength as redi mix or so I’m told. So that’s roughly twice. I think it’d still pay it considering how much mixing would need to be done for that much concrete. Especially if mixing by hand.9.5 yards is what a truck will hold. I have a nice mixer, holds 8 60 lb bags at once. Two wheelbarrows full.... If you use a truck, you need a pump as well. And a crew to move it around.....I do this by myself....4500 psi is what I am using....Around here, patio grade, what they call locally anyway, goes for 75 a yard. Wait. I just looked up cement mix as i was curious. 54 30kg bags equals 1 cubic yard. One bag is 1/2 cubic foot.9.5 yards is what a truck will hold. A pallet of 60 lb redi mix, same thing. 56 60 lb bags. 1200 for truck, 360 for redi mix!!! Yep a big difference!!!
Yep, you are correct.....I am wrong.....I need to look at my math....Wait. I just looked up cement mix as i was curious. 54 30kg bags equals 1 cubic yard. One bag is 1/2 cubic foot.
30 kg is 66 lbs.
$325 for one yard.
So I was wrong. A pallet is 135.00 dollars. 10 pallets is 10 yards. I have been buying 2 pallets at a time...hence my mix up....Wait. I just looked up cement mix as i was curious. 54 30kg bags equals 1 cubic yard. One bag is 1/2 cubic foot.
