I wish I had a picture. When I was still in my teens, living at Mom and Dads house, There was a nice Oak Tree in back of the house. Had a very nice large limb, protruding at 90 deg, about 8 feet from the ground. I had a chain and a come-along hanging on that limb, bout 6 feet out from the trunk. Pulled and installed untold engines from that tree, even pulled inboard engines from boats I owned. I had never heard the term " Shade Tree Mechanic " until my Dad started calling me that.....True Story... R.I.P. Dad....
 
Guy rolls up and wants me to work on his 80’s motorhome,350,turbo 350. Leaks atf. Nope. Not pulling a transmission. Doesent fit in my shop, and im not doing it on the floor. I made it quite clear, i have enough work,in my shop on my hoist. I am not interested in creepy crawly work.
 
Wife ran out of gas. In driveway this morning. Damn nissan fuel system. Two tanks,one pump. It creates a siphon to pull fuel from other side. Gauge not working right so dont know when its low.

no literature,some computer thingy calculates fuel level from both sensors.

One Minuteman is an attention getter. Not too long ago they launched 2 as a special test for some system and that REALLY gets your attention. One, they're just shooting at Kwajalein to dynamite fish for supper :lol:

I hope they're not escapees from Imperial County. They got it really bad already. Across the river in Az even worse.

Just finished dinner...

Salmon with fresh corn on the cob from my local farm stand... The farm stand just opened this week and the corn is fresh picked the night/day before...
 
I think my garage business may be coming to an end. Or at least on hold. I may be getting a job offer within a few weeks. By golly i’m going to take it. If not, im scaling back to 3 days/week. Chucking most of the just oil change customers. Unless they are willing to pay shop rate for time elapsed.
