Google crank sensor problems.
The tone ring isnt tight on the crank, and it will move a little, and cause it to do a timing correction, causing a momentary stumble. buddy’s truck will stall when its cold, or it will run rough right at first start in the morning.

Dont know if it has a fuel pump control module, instead of a pressure regulator it slows pump down if its at idle. Located at rear of vehicle. Housing isnt sealed very well and moisture gets in. Corrosion eats the copper around the torroid coil and eventually the circuit opens. Then no gas at all. I jumpered the coil.

Looks like a miniature jello salad decorated with copper

i have a riddle for you. My daycare lady, mid 2000s chevy 1500, v8. Randomly stumbles, especially in drive thrus. She's paid 3k so far in parts and labor and they still can't figure it out. Has new injectors, new rail, new fuel pump, new throttle body, new TPS, new filters, new plugs, plug wires, coil packs. Its not tripping any codes. Gets worse when its is raining. I'm thinking may a ground issue?

thanks all, I’ll let her know. Normally I refuse to work on non family relation vehicles. But this lady and her family have been closer than siblings for all of us. My kids love her and she’s gone way out of her way many times for us when we’ve needed a hand. So I’m helping her on this one.

On slow nights when nobody else was around, Asa used to keep posting in the deleted thread talking to himself.... Sometimes he would go on for two or three pages....
I talk to myself or the cars im working on-all day!

Happy Saturday ya Demented Demon fans! For all you older gun bunnies out there I had a vintage Dan Wesson 357 fall into my lap here awhile back. I finally got to the range to sight it in. Pix is of a six target progression walking the sights in. Each target is six shots at twenty feet. Down side of shooting at a public range during open hours is by target number 4 I had a bunch of folks standing behind me watching the process. No pressure or anything. Notes on target are the sight adjustments represented numerically.

Don't ya just love it when ya can cover it with a Quarter?

That was one nice thing about working at the rock farm and having several supervisors that enjoyed target shooting. After working hours, the range was open :elmer:.

I work at the range and typically I do all my practice sessions after hours. But I am traveling Out of state this weekend for a pistol event so I had to suck it up and shoot during regular hours. I love shooting vintage stuff. The Dan Wesson pistols are one of my favorites.

One thing I like here is I can shoot off the back porch if I want to. Hell lift day was a example of that, kind of glad that bag of tannerite Tike brought did not go off. Had no idea a pistol round would not set it off. Might have been ugly for sure.

Ever do shotgun golf? Get one guy to pitch the ball and try to shoot it? Hard as hell but when you do connect it goes sideways. And what is funny the pellets just stay in the cover of them.
