One thing I like here is I can shoot off the back porch if I want to. Hell lift day was a example of that, kind of glad that bag of tannerite Tike brought did not go off. Had no idea a pistol round would not set it off. Might have been ugly for sure.

Just curious, anyone having ammo shortages near them? Around here, there’s no common calibers on the shelf, been that way since June. About the only calibers on the shelves no matter where ya go is 6.5 Creed and 22 Hornet. An occasional box of 12 gauge target loads. Everything else, not a box to be had.

I have a real odd ball 16 bolt action with a three round clip, no markings whatsoever and it has a accuchoke on it. feels like a 10GA kick. Bought it here at a gun shop, really odd. Best shotgun I have is a old Stevens 16 double barrel, like a extension of my arm.

Do you want a 12 ga just like it?

My 12 gauge has less felt recoil than my 20 gauge. Granted it weighs more than my 20 gauge and has a better recoil absorbing system.

Buddy had a side by side given to him. A logger used to keep it on the skidder,deer rifle in case something wandered out.
22/250 if i recall. Its a wall hanger now. An axe or something got dropped on it, and a barrel got damaged.

Due to our firearm regulations, many guns get turned in. police bring them to machine shop and stand there while Mike cuts them up with his chopsaw. Sad. Said there were lots of collector pieces too.
