Cool morning here, sun may come out for a while. Buddy is supposed to come cut some metal today,needs 30 14 footers
For ceiling in his shop. Something to hold up insulation.
Will throw fargo into shop, spend a few hours on it tomorrow.
 
And the whole week is supposed to be well above freezing. Will be nice.
 
My home is on a small hill. I cover the septic system with insulation blankets as the wind will blow most of the snow off and system has froze in the past. Covered it yesterday. Staked the corners and put bricks and some bags of leaves for extra protection. Today’s project is to drag them all out from the trees and do a better job of it

Stack ya some straw bales directly ontop of it. Straw is an excellent insulation item. Put a tarp over the bales and stake it down.

years ago, a friend’s house was gutted by a grease fire. They had to live thru the winter in their pull behind camper. Those things have little to no insulation and he was going thru propane trying to stay warm like crazy. So gave him a wagon load of straw that he basically built a straw house over the camper and it worked.

I was watching the election crap last night.
I must be getting old, it didn't make a whole lot of sense until I found my glasses...then I could see what all the BS was.

Dang, still windy out there. Wind gusts to 40+ (dang, I'm a poet!)
 
We've had 15-20 mph winds here, but mid-upper 60's.
We went to the last local car show yesterday, and wore t-shirts and shorts.
142 cars showed up, lots of nice rides...oh and the 55 Chevy won Best of Show again.
I like the car, it looks nice, but Best of Show?? Shaking my head, it's the fourth Best of Show this summer.
Cheryl told me AGAIN there will be NO changes to that car, its perfect the way it is...ya ok move along, what if's here. :rolleyes:
 
Freaking crazy yesterday. I sold all the ignition stuff I had non Mopar on e bay, would have been 6 MFRB, had to combine it for the guy in two LFRB boxes. Man that was a PIA prob 1000 pieces of all sizes. Hope he is strong
