I'm thinking about starting to do some leaves soon... Then go to the grocery store around 9 - 10 AM, today is the last day of the sale on artichokes - buy 10 for $10 and get the 11th free... Then hollandaise sauce mix is on sale from $1.59 a packet to $1.09 a packet... And thick steaks are about half price now...

No deer season in my town, we have forest preserves and they are protected from hunting in there.... :elmer:

They get overpopulated is a city limit woodland park and they have a special bow season for them.

Ok gang, I'm going to try to clean some leaves up before I go shopping...

I don't want to get to the store too late and the good stuff picked over or run out...

Long Island they had almost no hunting. The area of North Haven was really bad with them, no vegetation at all under around 6 feet in height, one guy bought a old Monnisary thee and put a high fence around it and brought in a few tigers to take care of the problem, seriously. Guess what then they passed a ordinance no exotic animals allowed now. I thought that was ingenuous!

Busy time of year for my son and his fiancé. Both work in a butcher shop. Already busy with deer and regular season is a few weeks out. Good Morning
