Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well for all who will be on here today...I am headed to work to see what they are going to do with the prison where I work. I may not have a job by the end of the day...forced into retirement. But whatever it will all be good. I'll talk Hoppy into hiring me
Oh no, good luck my friend

Morning!
Not too cold this morning.
Parts run this morning, axle and 4 tires. Should get caught up in the next 10 days.

Morning all. Hell no Tike you smell like popcorn! Well PA is sucking on the covid again up 4700 for yesterday, and no it is not because of more tests the pos rate was 8% now it is 18.7! Not good here at all.

My son is leaving for work in the far north this morning. Suprised they havent shut it down. Being so remote and the crew seem to be responsible the council is permitting them to work.
I think he was hoping to stay home. Not much longer and the project will be done.

Theres a community with the highest positivity rate in canada, not far from here. They should have locked down a month ago.

I don't for see getting out for a while, doctors want me in today to do another look at my bone platelet count so I will be good for 3 more months, masks are always wore

Think the new regime will lock down for a while now like we should have and let the financial chips fall where they will. Prob not a bad thing in the long run either. Will just suck!

We are supposed to be ready and load out for a job on Saturday. So Saturday evening - Tuesday morning to get used to nights again and then Wednesday crew change and back on days.
Boat has various systems apart for repair as well.

Said that in Jan. What do you guys think of that rushed vaccine? No way here had one that gave me the issues I have now. Never again.

My story this morning
I bought a carpet SHAMPOO machine at an auction for twenty dollars, when I brought it home and filled it to test it leaked, I called Bissil and they said to cut the cord and take pictures of it with ththe cord cut off.. now I have a 300 dollar carpet SHAMPOO machine coming to me (delivered here in 7 day) what a great thing warranty is ...
That worked out well. Score!

Chris how they dealing with drill weekends? Just curious.
We did “virtual” drills from Feb until July. Since then, it’s back to normal drills. For other units, they skipped AT and anything involving overnight stays. Temps are logged at 4-6 hr internals. Per soldier. Access involves a questionaire and temps be taken.

that said, they’ve mobilized a huge chunk of us in Indiana to supplement health care places, especially nursing homes, so I see cases in the guard skyrocketing

I have definitely noticed reduced flying in multi seat aircraft here since the bombing range and ECM training site is over the mountain, just a bunch of A-10's and way less h-60 flying lately also.

It sounds like Pfizer has a 90% vaccine that they are damn close on. It has to be transported sub zero temps which isn't a issue with special containers and dry ice so I have heard. I think there will be quite a few labs releasing theirs fairly soon.
