I had to rebuild the burlap and felt on all the seat frames. So got that done and made a go of installing some new vinyl. Got the bottoms done. They were as tight as Al Bundy, but, they look pretty good. Do the seat backs tomorrow.

I am having a rough day today. Vet's Day and Dad's photo came up on Facebook. He was a great guy (my step Dad) and a even better teacher. I learned a lot about life from that guy. RIP Dad and Happy Veterans Day.

Went downstairs before work and found the drip pan under sink had overflowed and everything was getting soaked again. So,...I decided to take a day off and work on it. Replacement sink is slightly bigger, but fits the existing cutout. After removing a little excess solder, the compression shutoffs went on the supply lines okay and sealed. I did run into an issue with the drain line. The drain of the replacement sink is back too close to the drain pipe. And someone put glue in part that was supposed to just be compression. So will have to cut the pipe and re-do that. Just got back from Homely Depot a while ago with some parts that I think will work. Hopefully get it done shortly...

Damn plumbing! I had the supply line out by the shut off valve outside repaired a week or so ago. They used a compression fitting and that's what I used to tap into the supply lines under my sink in the basement. It worked pretty slick!

If they are gonna leak, will usually happen on install, not later. Just need a smooth surface to start with. I think this sink was installed by the drywall guys. LOL. Solder runs down the pipes I had to clean off with a razor blade for the compression ring.. The drain line is almost straight coming from floor, but they stubbed another piece onto it at slight angle, Made it tough to get the new trap on. I almost bought a universal kit with a flex line, but didn't like the idea of an accordion line catching crud inside. just seemed like a clog waiting to happen. It's together and not leaking now, so hope it stays that way. LOL

Well for all who will be on here today...I am headed to work to see what they are going to do with the prison where I work. I may not have a job by the end of the day...forced into retirement. But whatever it will all be good. I'll talk Hoppy into hiring me

Yep here in PA and they keep changing things. They are sending guys home and closing prisons. So today there is a big announcement.
