When he graduates, let me know. My company is ALWAYS hiring engineers and they usually pay very well, more than most for entry level engineers.Son called from Arizona, got accepted to U of W here for 5th year/Masters. Both me and the wife glad he's coming home! Mechanical Engineering.

No problem. We have positions every where too. I’ll check tomorrow, but sometimes they even take on engineering interns in their final year of school. I’ll get back to youWow, very nice, will do, thanks!

Here's his project team he's on now, hoping they build the car out enough and get it to Bonneville before he graduates. Crazy speed for the weight class
Thanks hoppy!!!
Where do you buy your attachments? I'm looking for a grinder wheel, thicker one piece, not the sanding pad type I show there. Napa didn't have.
You are correct about the cap, idk what I was thinking, besides the fact that the crank doesn't need to come out. Just need him to verify it's not a pan seal, and like I said, we will send whatever is needed. With shortblocks we obviously can't dyno them. So, I apologize, and it sucks. I messaged @Mopar Tim back as soon as I saw it.You have to at the minimum take out the seal retainer. Which in the small block is the rear main cap. I don’t see how you can get the old seal out and the new one in with out pulling that cap. Which means another torque cycle on the main bolts/studs. That said, it’s not that bad of a job outside the car, BUT I also can see why he’s not happy. Especially given the money involved.
