Stop in for a cup of coffee

So its a stat holiday today. but kind of working. Have to check a cruze for a coolant leak. And yesterday, it ended up getting towed, reduced power mode. Im betting its pcv valve again. These cars are total junk.

So, my shoulder is still sore despite the cortisone shot. Was behaving until yesterday. Woke up at 3:30am to the smoke alarm blaring. Checked the house and all seemed fine. Changed the battery and it shut up but beeped when pressing the test button. Still couldn't fall back asleep, nerves. Got up at 7am to a -35 wind out of the north west and -11 temp and frozen pipes to the whole second floor. Main level water worked fine, and nothing was leaking in the basement. Worked on it until 3 in the afternoon before I had water again. Ended up taking a forced air heat duct off from the main level bathroom so it would blow warm air into the corner of the basement where the pipes run upstairs and opening the cubby on main and upper lever that give access to the pipes by the bathtubs. This AM, still have water when I left for work but is -14 and wind is about the same. Will need to work on draft control and pipe insulation before next winter. Supposed to be in the +30's by the weekend.

Holy cow man, not a good time or good timing. I'd say take it easy but ya can't when that's going on!!

I managed to get my tractor stuck down the hill at a neighbors driveway, too steep and slick so had to shovel a tire track to pavement all the way up but got it out. Becky was calling me, dinner was on, I had no idea she was doing this so glad I made it back on time.

Here's the work my BIL helped me with, got the panel cut but now want to get the trunk support back from powdercoat before going any further, may have to do a little notching on rear edge of trunk pan.

A trick my friend showed me on yhe seam sealer, usr a slightly damp finger (que karl) in a rubber glove to smooth it out. Works great He recommends the brush on type to do it with a throw away brush cut down.

The cortisone takes a week or two to start working

The cortisone takes a week or two to start working

Yes, the doctor's office told me to keep with the physical therapy for 2 more weeks, then a follow up call. They said they felt I would notice a huge reduction in pain by the time I got home on Friday. Marginal at best still today, but keeping an open mind.

They said I have multiple tears in the rotator cuff. If the shot, combined with PT for 2 more weeks didn't solve the issue, then may have to scope it. Without the shot it would have been 6 weeks of PT, with shot, 2. We will see.
