Stop in for a cup of coffee

Looks like we escaped the ice storm tonight. The precipitation has stayed west of us and the temps are still holding at 34*. It’s predicted to rise after midnight and be 38* by morning.

I’m good with that...I’ve had enough of dealing with ice this year.

Next up is to see what we get Wed/Thurs. The mess from down south is headed this way.

Got piece welded in. Not pretty. Welder was fed. Needed a new liner back came out nice front not so much. Good thing no one will ever see it.

So far I think we have stayed just slightly to the rain side of this. Just need that to stay true till near midnight. Looks like Hoppy and Tike may not be so lucky.

I just heard from my friend that rents my house in Memphis. I was concerned about him and his family since he hadn’t replied to the text I sent 3 hours ago.

There is 8” of snow on the ground and temps are now 10*F going down to zero tonight. But the house is holding up fine and the heating systems doing what they should. They are safe and warm.

That’s all I can ask for.

I'm surprised that you had to cut that out but I am not good at figuring things.
My Gear Vendor seems to fit fine on my 904 with a few hammer marks on the tunnel I got the angle I needed.
But Tim I could be wrong on my figuring.

It was not going in any other way

Early?

My friend in my house in Memphis just gave me the temp reading from the attic where the water heater is. It’s holding at 49*F with the attic access door cracked open a few inches.

It’s 9*F outside now, so even if it drops to zero as predicted, the pipes should remain safe.

Fingers crossed.

Tim’s Dart is a ‘66. Early A bodies are very different than the later ones.

Just heard about my cousin today.... He didn't make it... His heart survived the attack, but his brain was starved of oxygen for about a half hour while they were reviving him those 3 times...

RIP Pete....

I finally found this picture of us at Talledega back in 1988....

That's my brother in law Jerry, my brother, my dad, me, and my cousin Pete that just passed away... Pete is the tall one on the right... (that's me in the black shorts next to him...)

So Sorry Karl. Prayers from here...R.I.P. Pete

One time Pete got pulled over on the PA turnpike by a PA state trooper back in the days when you weren't allowed to call cops names...

Pete: "If I called you an asshole, I could get in trouble, can't I?"

Cop: "Yes you can."

Pete: "But what if I thought that?"

Cop: "You can think anything that you want."

Pete: "Ok, I THINK YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE!!!"

You got to be kidding !! This snow event missed y'all ? . Try going down this driveway
I went to Dallas to a Mac Tool show. There was a ice storm a few days prior to the show. We rented a Cadillac at the airport and did doughnuts in the interstate. We were the only ones on the road. We had a gas!
