I am back in plowed enough to get in and out. Finish it when I can feel my fingers again!
I might try some on the garage for next winter. The house roof just dumps in the yard or on the bushes. They survive. The front porch and both sides of the garage roof would be a good idea. You have snow dogs on that metal roof? Not sure if you need them or not since it is textured. Mine is flat so when it goes it goes!
The old clay tile roof was a little more rough textured. It would slide off but only after a lot of it melted. This metal roof is slick. 30° and it slides right off. The peaks melt off first and the heat transfers down the courses. All sorts of them out there from ornate to clear composit ones. They aslo have like a bar system also. They all work.
Always works for me! And you save so much on welding consumables..You don't need a new rocker panel, all you need is some chicken wire, expanding foam, and some bondo. :-D
