Well I won’t need to buy any oil for a very long time. Just got 220 gallons on clearance, at the local farm store. 4.59 a gallon for Mobil 1 full synthetic
IMO, having run a couple 383's, they are very under appreciated....Especially in a light *** A body. I almost bought Mitches 383 Dart, really wanted one, now not so much with the 408...The thing about the 383, they rev like a small block while having Big block torque....IMO...
He won't get that 273 Air cleaner under the hood with that intake.....UNLESS 67 has over an inch more clearance under there....Hey Tim, there's competition in town! LOL Project Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: 273 - > 408 Magnum Swap
383 valve geometry is better IMO...More potential....Quickest street cars i ever experienced had that similar bore to stroke ratio 340, 361, and that 327 from the dark side. 383 is like a 340 on steroids.
Not saying my day went perfect but we got the drums on the ground. The large breaker bar was a casualty. Went with the hot wrench after that!

There was a pipe involved with that breaker bar. LOL
Working on the dart.Where is everyone???
Well, first "lost" part. Anyone have a castle nut for pitman arm? Mine is GONE!!! Crap...
So what's up? Mitch ever make it to "The Nam"?
Good thing, probably one that you can't just run over to Lowe's and find.
96 mostly original paint. The prev. owner fixed some rust spots. I need to replace the front fenders. Starting to rust out on the aprons. One thing nice about standard black, the paint matches. LOLWhat year is your Dakota??? I'm guessing 95 or 96....
If it's a 95, then it's a later year build if it's not repainted....
Well today sucked here too. My leg is still giving me grief.
Just have to be careful what you touch....
Eat bananas. You need potassium.I got the most painful charley horse in my calf last night... I couldn't even stand or use it to walk it off... But I got through it...
Damn, I should back read. I missed that one. I can see why Mitch works so hard (I said "hard") to get there. She is so pretty.Nice hand placement... Giggity, giggity....
Biggest thing doing potting whatever your sealing has to be 100% dry or you will get issues.
Heck two walls of that downstairs bedroom are done, opposite the living room area. I ought to just go ahead and do the bathroom and bedroom and get it done.
