Quickest street cars i ever experienced had that similar bore to stroke ratio 340, 361, and that 327 from the dark side. 383 is like a 340 on steroids.
He won't get that 273 Air cleaner under the hood with that intake.....UNLESS 67 has over an inch more clearance under there....
383 valve geometry is better IMO...More potential....

If it's a 95, then it's a later year build if it's not repainted....
They used to sell castle nuts at the hardware stores.... Not sure if they still do....

96 mostly original paint. The prev. owner fixed some rust spots. I need to replace the front fenders. Starting to rust out on the aprons. One thing nice about standard black, the paint matches. LOL
I got the most painful charley horse in my calf last night... I couldn't even stand or use it to walk it off... But I got through it...
