I tried that. it get's shook up and foams out of the can.I was going to suggest the cup holder with the smaller one, but a cup holder is necessary for either one... You need a place to carry the beer while you mow...

I was just thinking about that when the conversation started....
Incorporate a place for an Igloo ore Coleman 6 pack cooler to carry the supply of beer....
After about a 6 pack, the tractor should need a fill up of gas... Then you fill the tank and grab another six pack for the cooler and go for another round... Like a pit stop - gas, beer, and back to the race....
First mod I made to my JD 455, was to cut a hole in the top of the toolbox, on the fender, to fit a beer can With a huggie...I was going to suggest the cup holder with the smaller one, but a cup holder is necessary for either one... You need a place to carry the beer while you mow...
I have maybe half acre of actual mowing. Was a big difference going from a 42 to a 50. 'Garden tractor', not a zero turn. The zero could make a big difference in time it takes to mow.Was at Lowe's yesterday and looked at the zero turns while we there. Holy smoke glad I get a 10% military discount...pays for the sales tax.
A 54 inch JD was $4800. The other brands weren't much cheaper. Big jump in price between the 48 and 54 inch deck.
I'm thinking with 2 acres plus what's the real difference and go with the smaller deck??
I bought a tractor but mow back and forth to stripe to outdo my neighbors and their crappy 'professional' yard services.
Get the GPS auto steer the farmers use then!
Actually this one.

It even has theft tracking. LOLI'd like to see them test that robot mower in my yard...
I have plenty of obstacles that would be a good test for that thing...
I don't think I ever go exactly the same route twice. Hey, There's a butterfly...If you plan your route carefully, a regular tractor may be able to keep up with a zero turn....
Wagon train it...
