Nope. Originates in Vienna Austria. In German Vienna is Wien. Hence Wiener Schnitzel. Thin sliced veal cutlet, breaded and fried. And German potato salad.

A local eatery runs during the summer months, the absolute best! Consistent, fast ,cheap and delicious. 25 years running, the best food in the area hands down. I honestly dont know how they do it. Always a lineup to get in.

Later. Been up all night. Going into the city to toss more stuff in a dumpster.

Good Morning MOPAR fans!! It's Friday for those working. A rainy day here...ugh!!

The surveyors came and did their thing, took two days. Best news is that our house was built within the HOA setback rules (30 feet), not that anyone was saying anything, it's a laid back HOA, it was me that wanted to know that it was correct. As for the trees my neighbor hurried up and planted, most are on "my side" but not more than 1-1/2 feet anywhere and some are planted on his side so that evens out and his line is fairly straight. At the front of the property we "gained" two feet from where the neighbor thought his property line was. In the end I'm glad we know, also didn't know where the corner was at the lake, there's a lake trail that goes all the way around, we maintain "our part".

Monday for me can work in the shop and no driving miss Daisy today. Yesterday we spent over $500 at the commissary. I was done after getting back and putting it all away. Been a while since we went there. One guy thought I was nuts had 6 cans off coffee and he asked if I drink it a lot, told him that was a weeks worth or so!

Anytime I buy something at Safeway or Haggens I really appreciate our commissary. The proximity to one was definitely one of the considerations as to where we ended up living after I retired from the Navy. How far do you have to drive to get to yours? Which one?

Carlisle Barracks. About 40 minutes, try to do it every few months, saves a lot going there. Basically next to the Chrysler nationals,
