Yep, it’s why we can’t build. Lumber prices for our house went from 58,000 to ~128,000

We lined everything up and the procession drove by slow. Pretty moving.
then at the church, pastor asked to have the model 60 we restored for him for Christmas lead the burial procession. Right to his grave.
Later, I found this, a picture of my grandmother and my aunt and what I think is the passenger side rear of the Sport Fury my grandfather loved. Picture is dated “fall 1964”.

I know. $8.00 a sheet when i covered the walls inside my shop. Last i heard it was $38.
its all bs. Logging is a non contact sport, one guy in each machine, trucking is the same.
So is milling, pressing, stacking and strapping. No close contacts anywhere. Its demand. Nothing more nothing less.
It’s also hold ups at the border. I got a friend that hauls for menards, they get their lumber from up there and it’s a two to three week process for him to get a load and get it back across the border and to a Menards store

Left leg is pounding from knee to hip. Mostly knee, radiates to hip at times like now. Went to docs yesterday for bloodwork, routine. Had Xray done he will most likely get back Monday I hope. He feels it's exterior Miniscus problem. Otherwise I'm as big as, and health as a horse.

Good Morning All! Thought I was doing some OT today but fiber isn't in so won't be working that job! Think I figured out my turntable issue, wishing the base material for this piece of crap wasn't plastic because I have to try to get a gear to sit more level and there's not much room for shimming. Was supposed to have a guy stop by and buy those melted leaf springs yesterday, no show, Craigslist strikes again.
