Stop in for a cup of coffee

Did you hear about the actor who fell through the floorboards?

He was just going through a stage.
Did you hear about the Electrician who had a habit of cutting live cables?

It was just a phase he was going through.

Well, spent the day at Jefferson swap meet. Huge place, and maybe 3 vendors with any mopar parts. I did get the drivers side 68 coronet fender I needed. Shame to cut it up, but oh well. Hope all is well

So we had a long range match today. Protocol: standing offhand using a lever action, chambered in a pistol cartridge, only drawback? Must be equipped with buck horn sights only. For the non 2A folks think no real sight just kind of a V! I tied for first, rang the steel at 350/250/200 yards. Go head ask me about the 100 yard target? Arghh! Yep sailed right over the top of it. Bonehead move for sure!

For fun this guy ran his Win 1873 and SAA in two gun matches. Looks like fun...

Correct. In the intro he says he cast and loaded his ammo, and at the end he thanks his patreon supporters for making that possible.

Oddly enough he is shooting exactly what I use. It is actually pretty typical for cowboy action shooters. And I can assure you tightening the screws is a real thing! My lever action is what is called “short stroked” I can shoot it as quick as most people can shoot an AR. The internals are modified so that I do not need to move lever very far to get next round charged. Having four to five pieces of brass in the air at once is not uncommon. But reloads are a bit slow!

Binge watching Game of thrones. My wife has not seen any, and I have only 2 seasons....

And full disclaimer I am in fact a “sponsored shooter” as a result I do not have ammo shortage issues but still load my own! You simply have to. I shoot in excess of 1000 rounds a month.
Black powder for those that would have been?

Went and picked up a gas firepit for the deck. Wife wanted one, so “happy birthday”!!
