I will put a temp ground in place see if it has any effect....Thanks....@Mopar Tim for what it’s worth, I had a similar issue that was solved by running an 8ga ground from the alternator case to the body of the car.
Nice! I have a left nut I'm not using! At the Colorado Mopar show, one for @toolmanmike

Almost there! Just need a few more parts!!Nice! I have a left nut I'm not using!
I wouldn't pass up a Maxie but it really isn't necessary. I would be happy with a Poly.At the Colorado Mopar show, one for @toolmanmike

With a dvom or gauge on dash? You think the new voltage regulator is bad. Voltage jumps from 14 to a little more running....grounded well....
Caps ****? Is that like **** block ?????
GT 37 ?Guy picked up his 71 Chevelle and dropped off his 70 GTO. Wants me to put these 6 piston Wildwood brakes on the front. He bought em from a guy with a 69 Camaro. Just did some research, looks like it is the same kit. Will see on Monday. Don't like to work on the weekends.

New auto meter gauge. And lights fluctuate. With a dvom or gauge on dash?
All new wiring. But I am going to run all new temp wiring and see what's up...14.2-14.5 is normal. 14.8+ sumting wong. Voltage drop somewhere.

Thinking that. Might have to run a relay to regulator. Field off source voltage. Switched off Batt directly..Check to see what voltage the regulator is seeing. Most likely less that actual battery so the regulator over compensates.

Good catch. Batt 12.28. Voltage at reg 12.06. Of course not runningCheck to see what voltage the regulator is seeing. Most likely less that actual battery so the regulator over compensates.
Nahhh, Its a clone of a Tempest......But has a nice Strong 400 and a 4 speed.....GT 37 ?
I really thought all new wiring would do away with that annoying mopar issue. But I think voltage loss here is in fuse panel.Yup that is exactly what I did. Solved the high charging rate problem.
Battery should be 12.4 - 12.6 at rest. Yours needs a charge.Good catch. Batt 12.28. Voltage at reg 12.06. Of course not running
F’n no show…Sitting here waiting for someone supposed to get a dresser I put on Marketplace. Said 11. 20 after now. Not holding my breath.
