Stop in for a cup of coffee

So only gonna hit 77 today. Gonna go play electrician on the Polara.

I see Steve Welder took it the same way as Ray - a slap at people who serve.
I responded similarly in the July 4 Reading the Declaration thread.
Yeah I saw and came to the same conclusion. Was gonna reply but decided it wasn’t worth the time

If I can just figure out how to get power inside the cabin, I can drive this *****
Chris, Just copy what the factory did.
They had a team of engineers and techs figure it out; wire size, how to route, how much strain relief, etc etc (or yada yada yada for you new yoorkers)

Chris first thing to do is see if the main wire to the amp gauge is getting power through the bulkhead connector if it is then make sure you have power in and out of the ammeter, that is the main for all the wiring in the car.

Good morning Tim!
Screenshots are never good. The original map isn't swell either but it looks like most of the west is ablaze.

Like read instructions?

i am following the factory wiring diagram. I bought an nos full chassis harness , had an electrician come out and check the thing for continuity. It’s good. Yet I have no power passed the starter relay. So I’ve finally got a new starter relay in after waiting MONTHS. Hopefully that solves it.

I’ll give that a shot

I took my comment out about figuring out where he is after I realized Unconventional had posted, not Tim,

Yea. Seriosuly. Our mini-crew had gone down a few roads and saw smoke all around (but not that close in). We didnt seem to be getting where they sent us. We didn't know whre we were and didn't have info on the fire. That was when we said - H'm How many safety rules are we violating? Time to turn around and get out! We need new directions!

Thats good as far as it goes.
Check each terminal (metal part) that they don't back out when you snap the connectors together.
Keep in mind that a continuity check done with an ohmeter only says the two ends are connected. It doesn't reveal if they are only connected by one strand.

Before you connect the battery, keep in mind that every wire loose wire end must be secure. The last thing you want to do is accidently ground the battery positive.

As long as you know where you're at, and you know where the fire is, you're good to go.

Too many. Far too many. Undercutting those in public service and then saying oh look ____________ doesn't work.
Its amazing some of services, military in particular, do as well as they do and maintain fairly decent morale.
And eveything depends on morale.
