Hope you can make it work Tim. Those cardboard templates should really help.

Looks good.
You got the sheet metal clips for the attaching screws?
I forget what they're called, but pretty common.

Are you going to connect the top. Be slick to do that with a good 1/4 turn fastener, but maybe that's not secure enough.

My wagoneer has been missing a chunk out of its fan shroud since I bought it.
One day going to connect it...

On the top, going to cut a narrow piece to continue the circle. The fan does not go up there, just the .5 inch clearance. Pop rivet in place. Going to figure out the attachments. The holes there are 1/4 inch. Might see about a capture/captive nut of a smaller size....

So Jodi is heading out to pick up the hound from the doggie hotel. She is washed, waxed and got a pedicure (nails clipped) I am super excited to get her home. Haven’t seen the dumb dog in a week or so. This is the longest I have ever been separated from her. I raised her from a rejected cast away LEO drop out. We have been inseparable for years. I did however learn a couple of things during this vacation. Number one: when you are done for the day and curled up in bed with a beautiful naked female do not utter the words “I am having trouble going to sleep without my hound”. Number two: when having a nice quiet evening meal with a nice red wine, never wonder out loud “ I bet Hemi would like our room” Number three:
When wife is hot tired and a bit dehydrated don’t ask for video clips from doggie hotel showing Hemi romping in pool. Number four: When walking thru hotel lobby and a fancy lady has toy dog of some kind in her purse do not explain in drunken baritone “ look baby, a chew toy for Hemi” No real emotional baggage here with regard to separation anxiety, nope, nothing. Just want my dog back! Hah!

I COMPLETELY understand!!!

If only I had more paid days available... I get 2 weeks. I think I have 2 or 3 days left.

Probably not getting to the shed today anymore. Was really planning to get something done out there today. Pretty much lost interest at this point.
I did take the 55" TV off it's mount. Hasn't worked for a while now. Opened it up. Really just the screen and 2 main cards. Looks like one is power supply and other AV. Thing is it has sound, but no picture. Initially the pic would come on and then go dark in a few minutes. Now, no pic at all. That could be any one of the 3 big parts. :BangHead: Gonna do some googleshooting and see if any common fail that would point to one component.
Wasn't getting anywhere with the TV and the rain was down to a drizzle, So... Decided I couldn't let this go without a little progress for the day. Tore up the remaining floor on front half. Got a couple new boards in. Might change one more of the double 1x's. While I had them all out of the way I raked the dirt over the groundhog hole I closed up. Then decided to move the front support block closer to center. Dug it out and found there was still a void their from the ground hogs. Got the hose out and worked mud in as best I could. The hole is still open to replace the blocking, covered with plywood at bottom of the pic.

Another shot of rain. and these wierd gusts of wind. Dead calm, then a big gust. Now calm again.

Buddy is happy, checked all of his brakes and balanced the wheels. His wifes van. Steering wheel was shaking violently. She never said a word.says it drives and stops like new.

Sitting on the porch enjoying a cocktail at the end of a hectic day.

Movers came and offloaded everything. It went well, no wall damage.

After they left the two prinary goals were to get the garage squared away so the truck would go in and to find the coffee maker.

Intermediary goal was to get the shed cleaned out so the stuff in the garage could get stored.

Amazing how much different the front looks without the emblem on the grill.
I may change mine.
